This hotel facing to Scarborough beach is very comfortable to stay, although, unfortunately, beach road is under construction now. Staffs are only available until 2:30pm. This is bit difficult to leave our luggage at hotel after checkout on the last day.

Relaxing holiday with full facilities

The appartment is spacious for 6 and all facilities (cooking, washing, etc) are complete and good in condition. Nice scenery with the seaside view. Highly recommended for family holiday!

Clean & Comfortable Stay

My family and I stayed in the 2-Bedroom Apartment and we were satisfied at how the kithen is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen tools sufficient to cook our meals. The rooms are clean and tidy, spacious enough for a family of 4. Location was convenient with only 3 minutes away from Coles supermarket and busstop and there's lots of restaurants and cafes along the stretch. The overall experience was wonderful albeit the internet wifi connection was pretty weak and we stayed there for 5 days with no wifi because of the infrequent connection. We did called up to ask the personnel to fix it but the problem still persisted. Aside from the wifi, everything was fine !

3 night family stay

3 night stay during our (2 adults, 2 kids aged 3 and 5) visit to Western Australia. Very nice stay here, though the hotel (for better or worse) is not as isolated as it appears in the pictures on hotels.com. There is a range of hotels on the esplanade facing the beach, and cafe's and supermarket are literally next door, whereas the beach is across the road and a parking lot. The interior is showing small signs of wear and tear, but everything is clean and functional. We appreciated the laundry facilities (washer/dryer) in the apartment and the fully stocked kitchen.

Good but hot water system not working properly

Check-in after 4pm,the only way was to call someone for a code to open a locker containing keys and instructions.Unless you have roaming service activated, you have to find a payphone.There was none nearby.I have to borrow a mobile phone from a cafe 2 blocks away.It was raining and no cover :( I would suggest having an intercom dial to a phone service beside the locker if Seashells continues to feel that having nobody mending the front-desk after 4pm is adequate for a hotel/apartment rated 4-stars and above.8 set of keys were found in the locker. My family were allocated a room on the second floor in a different building beside the main building,it took us awhile to find it and there was no lift. We did not have the full view of the sea from the balcony but it was not too bad.The blue sofa looked tired and dirty, the beds were comfortable, kitchen has everything we need.Wifi capped at 200MB/day but was quite fast.Coles supermarket was nearby and there were enough parking spaces.However,there was no room service. The "instantaneous" hot water system didn't work well and there were no service people to help after 4pm. To call them for emergency cost $50. My family have to go on cold shower for 2 nights as we were out early (working) and back late (not working again). The outside temperature was 18-20°C at night and the water was lower then that. I turned the HOT water tap on/off at least 50 times and even left it running for awhile but to no avail. Hope they fixed it.

Great beach, self contained apartments

overall satified with my 2 nights stay. Just in front of the beach. Beautiful view. Nearby lots of restaurant & Coles supermarket is just walking distance. Clean rooms & fully equiped kitchen with pots & cutlery. Just one complaint regarding the hot water shower. The hot water tap at washing sink is easy to control. However the shower one is very difficult. One moment too hot & next moment too cold. Other than this, everything is great.

Overlooking the beach

We had a wonderful stay at Seashells with a two-bedder apartment. The unit was big, and the view was great. Location was central, quick stroll to Coles next door, and a near drive to Fremantle or the City. Will def stay here again!

Good seaview and good place for family stay. Spa bath stained so dare not use. Else everything is clean and in good order. Shower a little to low for taller people. Overall enjoyable stay and would choose to stay again in future.
