Great location and spacious room

Location was good. Room was spacious and comfy. The jaccuzi in the apartment was great. Only issue was the rumbling noise created by the hot water pipes whenever hot water is used

The location was perfect, tram stop was just a stone throw away. Love the fact that Chinatown was walking distance so on Christmas day, food options were not an issue. Service was poor. Didnt inform that we need to reserve a carpark lot. Asked for towels to be replenished at pool 5 times. Took 45 mins b4 staff appeared.

Very nice, clean and well upkept apt with a kitchen. Having breakfast looking at the beach. DVD movie is free for rent. Just infront of apt are eateries and shops.

great location, apartment was clean but tired

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for a family of four as suggested by the resort. It was not a good idea. The make shift sofa bed was uncomfortable and springy. I would recommend families book a 2 bedroom instead. The exterior of the apartment was also looking very tired and desperately in need of a new coat of paint.

Wish I could stay one more night!

Great stay with good facilities and nice clean room! Love the small heated pool as well especially after the cold beach! Our garden view room got a sneak peek of the ocean and it was great!!

Nice hotel with great ocean view

The 2 rooms apartment with living room, kitchenette, washing machine and dryer is certainly recommended when travelling as a family. We also have a great view of the ocean, as our unit is on the highest floor of the block that is facing the ocean.

Rude Housekeeping

We were not informed about the checkout time at 10am when checking-in. I have assumed it to be 12pm. Anyhow, housekeeping barged in at 1110 thereabouts, accuse me of not picking up the phone when actually I was enjoying the view in the balcony (apartment room was big). She claimed the Universal check-out time for hotels is 10am, a claim I beg to differ having traveled quite a bit around the globe. She also claim the next tenants are coming in very soon, but having check the check-in time for the hotel, I don't believe that is the case if they stick hard to the policy. What I have hoped was at least a more friendly approach. That experience really dampened the pleasant experience of the Great Ocean Road and the hospitality of that Australians have displayed during my stay. It is unfortunate.
