Beautiful cabin and area! We stayed here for just one night (wish it had been longer). We chose it for its convenience between Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone. It became a little less convenient when we were forced to change route due to wildfire on other side of mountain. It became very stressful when we had to go over mountain while clock-watching trying to get there before their 7PM check-in deadline, with no cell service to be able to call them. But, as it was, they did provide for us being a little late. Once there, though, stress melted away in the calm beautiful locale. It’s a beautiful spot! Cabin was clean, cozy, thoughtfully decorated. It had heat, refrig, internet. The owner was friendly and accommodating. If we go west again I would definitely plan another (longer) stay there.

Cozy, clean cabins. Clear directions for self check-in. Staff is friendly & nice. Shell Store is only dining in town (that I was aware of) but town of Greybull is nearby with additional dining options.

Nothing like the photos show

Nice property...quiet...i think the tents could have been a little cleaner meaning a vacuum to atleast remove dead insects and spider webs. Bed and pillows comfortable. Nothing glamorous. Also there should be a designated area to smoke. Not everyone is a non smoker.

Lovely, intimate area, comfy cabin, perfect location in a tiny 74 population town. Great little store with yummy fresh baked carrot cake. Different cake based on baker's creation.

Quick stay

Perfectly fine cabins, self-checkin after dark would be helped by a cabin map. Mature shade trees.

Ours was a glamping tent with a bed. At first it was warm and humid. We had a fan in the tent that helped. The exciting part is we had wonder rain with thunder and lightning. It made the experience even better.

Did not get the cabin we reserved. Cabin was dirty with bugs and hair on the bed spread ,cob webs ,dirty window ceil ,food and empty water bottles under bed . Mold in the refrigerator. Portable air conditioner was so loud made it difficult to sleep . Worker did semi clean before we returned and gave us a clean bed spread . After we arrived it was difficult to get in contact with person running it no one ever in the office and called the number posted left several messages to no avail. We reserved on line and COULDN'T get a refund The pictures presented were not at all what it was . Super disappointed. Checked out 3 days early .would NOT recommend!!!!!!!

The one thing I would mention there's really nothing here for shopping.. there is a store but I came in on a Sunday evening and it was closed I had to travel 15 miles to greybull to get any food or really shop for anything I don't know what it's like on the other days far as the little store in Shell.. I suggest if you need anything for you stay to make sure you have it before you get here.. and also make sure you have towels and washcloths for the shower house .. there wasn't any in my tent when I arrived and office was closed when I got here on Sunday evening.. the shower house was nice and clean.. I'm not sure of the office hours

Would happily stay again, or have stayed longer. Stayed in one of the tents during a severe weather event: tent remained dry and sturdy despite rain and v strong WY winds. It's as-advertised, maybe not "glamping" but a very comfortable tent with a nice view and a deep stream directly in front. Comms were excellent: instructions were clear and they called that day to confirm. They recommend the local store for provisions, but right now that closes @4pm (about the moment I arrived) and opens late mornings, and there is *nothing* else for 15 miles, so I'd suggest you bring with you what you need for the first night and breakfast, at least.

Beautiful stop in Wyoming

Very beautiful property! We stayed in the tent for one night. Amazing view facing a stunning sunset and with a little creek running right in front of us. Tent was very clean, bed was comfortable, looks exactly as pictured. The drive to the site was breathtaking and it was pretty quiet all night even though there is a road nearby. There was lawn games you are able to play with and bathroom/ showers so close by. I do wish there was more information on checking out as a tent since we left hoping we did everything properly, but we did appreciate the calm and easy manner it was to get our tent when checking in. Owners were very responsive through email when we first booked to answer any questions. Would stay again if crossing Wyoming in the future.
