The area feels safe and has many dining options close by. It was spacious and well equipped, with nice city view. One of the bedrooms smelt like the bedlinen was not changed, thus my two daughters shared one room since there are 3 bedrooms for 4 of us. Every night, after returning to the hotel, we need to call to request for body wash and shampoo as these were always not replenished, even though the room was tidied. When I was checking out, front desk staff showed me a photo of 3 mugs on the dish rack and said one is missing, asked if I had taken it. My husband remembered it was on the dining table. This is rather annoying, the housekeeper should have checked carefully before accusing us of taking the mug. I was told to sign on a form to declare that I didn’t take the mug. What was most shocking was the taxi ride to airport which was booked by the hotel’s front desk. The night before we left, I spoke to the front desk staff to request for late check out as our flight was at 6.15pm, and the staff obliged to give us an extension to 1pm. At the same time, she asked if I’d like her to book a taxi for us. I asked and was told it will be charged by meter and the estimated charge would be 200,000 to 300,000. Even though it was higher than Grab, I accepted it as I thought it’d be more reliable. To my shock, we had to pay 3,990,000!!! The hotel must warn guests of potential rip off and recommend only reliable taxi drivers to guests, this is service I expect as your guest.

Room was clean and comfortable. Upgrade was fantastic. Only issue was quite a distance from district 1 where all the shopping and good restaurants are. Otherwise everything was fine though the traffic was crazy

Location is a bit of a distance (~15min drive) from District 1 but is quite self sufficient in the area of the hotel, with convenient store and mall just around the corner. Rooms are clean and tidy. Area is safe and filled with expats. Hotel staffs are also friendly and all are able to speak English.... Overall a hasslfree stay...

Oakwood is fantastic service apartments in distt 7. The area around has plenty of dining options especially Korean cuisine. The hotel rooms are top class service apartments and ideal for small families or business travellers alike. There is a restaurant at the lobby level and cheers provision store for daily needs. Customer response service is the worst. Whenever I went on a business trip to Ho Chi Minh City, I always used this hotel. I don't want to use this hotel again through this.

This is the best place to stay in Ho Chi Minh with a family. Honestly nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they fix any issue immediately. In a chaotic city, this hotel was a welcome reprieve. Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. District 7 might seem a long way from the tourist attractions of D1, but the Grab rides were easy to get and meant we slept well without the constant noise or honking of horns. We stayed 3 times over 3 weeks and I would definately stay again! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Ho Chi Minh.

Great place to stay in a good area

My dad and I stayed at Oakwood in their 2 bedroom apartment. We were really happy with the hotel. It is in a great area with lots of restaurants close by, a large mall, and wonderful staff. The room was fully equipped with washer, dryer, dishwasher, and a full kitchen. I would definitely stay there next time i come to Vietnam.
