The property was fantastic and mere minutes away from the city centre. The staff of the hotel could be friendlier. They all seem rather standoffish. Not sure if it's Icelandic culture but surely not because i've stayed in other places and they are warm, smiley and chatty.

my family and I stayed at the apartment for 2 nights and it was the worst experience we ever had in Iceland. we had stayed in many apartments previously and this was the worse. There are many bars and pubs near the apartment and the music was pounding the entire night. After the pub closed at 4.30am, there were many people who were drunk lingering around the area and talking really loudly. There was no way we could rest. Besides the music, people were screaming, cars were honking. It really ruin the entire stay, especially if you have been driving the entire day. There was no way we could sleep. Unless you want to put on ear plugs all night or join in the party in the night, I strongly discourage anyone from booking this apartment. For this price, there are many better apartments around this area.

Good Location and a lovely stay

Location is grest and the condition of the unit is well maintained and necessities are provided. Only thing to note is that the apartment has no elevators and you will be required to carry all heavy baggage up the stairs. Overall it is quite a good stay and the only drawback is that the apartment is not provided with washer/dryer which would then made it a perfect stay.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful during my stay. I loved the apartment feel with the support of a hotel staff. The location was walkable to many restaurants and shops. The apartment became our home away from home.

I booked our property on a whim and found out it was ON rainbow Row! How cool! It was so convenient. The view of the cathedral was epic. We were so tired, but sleeping was difficult because the foyer light never went off, we could never find the switch. And, the noise from the road and people coming out of the bars went on until 5:30 am😳

Great stay! Super spacious. Wonderful set up in the apartment. Have everything you might need in the kitchen. Close to many shops and places to see. I wish we could’ve stayed more than one night. Would say only downside is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggages up the stairs.

Excellent spot and location. Very clean. Only critique was that it was a walk-up which was not expressed in the advertisement. This made things difficult for elderly family members. Apartments on the 4th floor should express that there is no elevator

Very nice 2 bdrm apartment with kitchen. Great location in walking distance to many shops, restaurants etc. The only negative thing was a loud bar located across the street from our room. Although I was the only one of our group of 4, that found the noise to be an issue.
