The area is safe and quiet, however parking seems a bit inconvenient without complimentary parking after 8am although hotel check out is at 10am. There’s a countdown nearby for groceries, but not much shopping available.

Great location. Clean and Modern studio. Friendly.

Convenience and central location. Walking distance to the beautiful and romantic beach. Just one minutes walk to the Inter-City Bus Stop. Near KFC , Burger King and other restaurant. Near to all the must-see sights. The studio that came with a fully equipped kitchen set including a dishwasher, Wow! Room is perfect clean, comfortable and modern art design. Helpful and friendly staff , warmest welcome and treat us like a family. We will absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend !!! Perfect Score!!!

Basic yet comfortable motel style accommodation. The room was spacious and bright, and location is also very good, right next to the restaurants and water front. Jon at check in was super friendly, polite and professional. The bathroom needs a major upgrade though - it had the tiniest mirror and storage cupboard.

Quest was a fun hotel. Our family of three had an apartment with a separate bedroom, a bed in the living room area, a well-stocked kitchenette and a sitting area. The bedroom had sliding panels to close for privacy. The owners did a good job of embracing an historic building but updating for modern conveniences. The original wood floors were used in the apartment. The property has a library for guest use. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is well-located near the beach, restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend this property!

A good central place to stay for one night

We stayed one night in a King Studio apartment. Quest Napier is quite central and the streets and parking were very busy when we arrived. We had booked parking under the hotel for the night which was a good thing. There are free carparks next door and across the road but only after 6pm and for some of the weekend. Our arrival was a bit early but they were able to find us a room that was ready so we could settle in. The lady at reception was great and showed me where to go for the parking and explained everything. The room was a little dated but has been renovated so was fine. It was functional with a comfortable bed, and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette and a pod coffee machine. My only issue was the shower which has a curtain, not ideal because it blows in on you and the floor still got quite wet. The shower did have excellent pressure tho and we were more than happy with one night staying in this apartment.

No free parking. Checked in just prior to 5pm. Staff were in a rush to go home, so briefing and welcome was extremely rushed. There was some awful stains around the toilet seat, and rust around the shower
