No lift.

There is no lift and we have to carry our big luggages up to our room by the staircases. So anyone is planning to go there please not that there is no lift at the resort.

Checking in a bit late but the resort staff makes the checking in fast and smooth. The view from the room was alsome in the morning. The room was clean and well maintained.

Excellent and great stay

It was a enjoyable 3d2n stay at Silver water resort. It like a chalet and does not have make up room service each day unless you paid for it. We booked the 1 bedroom suite that come with a full equipped kitchen utensil and appliances . All were clean and neatly place in the drawer. There are also a dish washing to assist us after cooking. It will be prefect if the bed is a king size bed

Great location, modern apartments

Our second stay here and the facilities and amenities are still in tip top condition after these years ! Great kiddy playground and tennis courts. Really great ambience and environment for a family stay. Hotel breakfast is pretty basic. Staff are polite and helpful. We will definitely be back !

Clean hotel with nice playground for kids

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment and we were very pleased with the cleanliness and space in the apartment. However, our stay would have been much more enjoyable if not for the following: 1. Only 2 small sachets of washing machine detergent were provided for my 2 night stay for 6 persons. When I requested for more at the reception, 2 more were given to me most reluctantly. 2. The kitchen was not well equipped. The baking tray in the oven was dirty and no baking paper or aluminium foil or cling wrap was available. Even kitchen paper towels were missing. Only 2 small sachets of dish washing liquid were provided. Clearly these are not sufficient for washing up for a family of 6 for 2 nights. 4. The Tefal coated frying pan also looks like it needs to be replaced as parts of the coating seemed to have come off. 3. Was really disappointed that even something simple like a bread toaster was missing from the kitchen. 4. Free wifi 250mb only given each day. And only for one time log in. Most frustrating to use.

Everything one would expect to find at a resort. Our only gripe is how expensive the resort would have charged if we went ahead to rent a baby crib for one night. Child-friendly yes, but maybe not baby-friendly. Staff didn't seem sensitive to our family needs and assigned us a room on the 2nd floor where we had to carry our own luggages and the baby stroller up and down. Other than that, certainly would recommend this again to friends and families visiting Philip Island.

Food poisoning

Experienced food poisoning from the restaurant room service. Chicken wings even had cooked feathers on them. Tried calling the restaurant multiple times with no answer. Took the food back the next morning to be told they may not be able to provide a refund as it’s the next day. Explained the whole situation, the chef was very nice trying to rectify the situation however the restaurant supervisor wasn’t as nice. I was offered a Mina amount on a bar voucher instead of the refund. Can’t really use a bar voucher when nothing can be kept down. Ruined the whole weekend as it was spent being sick in the room.
