Disappointing Stay, Avoid if Cleanliness is a Priority
My recent stay at the Seralago Hotel was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone who values cleanliness and well-maintained accommodations. I booked this hotel based on the appealing photos online, but the reality was far from what was advertised.
From the moment I entered the room, it was clear that the hotel is not being properly maintained. The couch and bed were covered in visible stains, which was frankly disgusting. The bathroom was filthy, and the paint was peeling off the doors, shower stall, and tub, creating an unsanitary environment. The floors were also dirty, adding to the overall sense of neglect.
Beyond the cleanliness issues, several of the room's amenities were not functioning. The phone didn't work, making it difficult to contact the front desk. The lamps flickered and sparked, with exposed wiring that seemed like a fire hazard. Even the simple task of getting clean sheets proved impossible; when I requested them, I was told the hotel had no extras available.
My attempts to address these concerns with the front desk were met with little more than an apology. While I appreciate an acknowledgment of the problems, it did nothing to rectify the situation. The lack of action from the staff further compounded my disappointment.
