Jump on the free ski shuttle for an exciting day on the slopes, and return to Tantalus Resort Lodge to enjoy a roaring lobby fireplace. All 64 homes boast fireplaces, and offer free WiFi and kitchens. Balconies and pillowtop beds are standard, as are LCD TVs with cable channels.
Tantalus Resort Lodge offers 64 accommodations with fireplaces and a safe. Rooms open to balconies. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses. 32-inch LCD televisions come with cable channels. Nice Resort accommodation for off peak stay!

My family stayed a night at Tantalus Resort Lodge at Whistler. I particularly like the location of this resort lodge as it locates just a stone throw away from the Town Center, one can take an easy 15 minutes stroll to the Town Center without much hassle. I love the room facility as it comes with a full kitchen facility, a spacious living area and two bedrooms. Considering the off peak price I paid, I would certainly recommend to anyone. The only downside I see is the garage parking fee levied by the Lodge since it is part of the lodge building.

Great for families with babies.

Tantalus lodge was great for our family of 3 adults and a baby. They were extremely helpful with the extra amenities required like a baby cot and a high chair. The lodge is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the village stroll in whistler and provided a fantastic mountain view from the room. This meant a relatively quiet stay. I loved the free shuttle service to within a minute walk to the lifts for my snowboarding

Great location! The lodge offers complimentary shuttle to get closer to gondola or to stroll around the village. Also, if shuttle is not available, the lodge is located within a ten minute walk to whistler village, which makes it close enough for those evening walks. We had a great and enjoyable stay, and we'll definitely stay here again!

Always stay at the Tantalus when there’s a group of 3 to 6 of us snowboarding up at Whistler. Good value hot tub is normally working well and a walk to the village is short though there is a shuttle. Should you require it?

A group of 3 of us stayed just overnight but this place was great. The sofa bed, while not exactly comfortable, was acceptable and allowed each of us to have our own space. The staff were all super friendly and helpful And the place is a short walk into town, about five minutes past the Hilton. It does require going up and then down a small hill so probably not ideal for mobility challenged if travelling without a vehicle. Otherwise a great experience.

Great Value

We loved the layout of the loft suite. There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies in order to cook, etc. The pool for sure could be warmer. It wasn’t really fun. There should also be like 30 minute time blocks for the hot tubs as people camped out for hours in there.

The hotel is nice and within a short walk to restaurants and stores I asked about rooms with a smart tv since we wanted to watch Netflix but was told there were currently no rooms that had the smart tv. Tv in rooms were also small. So my only suggestion would be to update to larger smart tvs for all the rooms

Hidden fees

Overall the room was okay, very dated. We were not happy when checking out as there was a surprise parking fee that we were not told about when checking in. Extremely limited parking forced us to park on the road way in a fire lane up against bushes that scratched my vehicle and made it very difficult to unload anything from the vehicle. When asked if they would waive the fee as we where told to park in a no parking zone where we couldn’t get in and out of the car we were told they cannot and only a manager can. So we asked to speak to a manager but there were none working that day and would not give us their phone number or email. I will never stay here again and recommend to everyone else not too as their customer service was non-existent.

Great staff but this property could use a refresh. The parkade is small and pretty dingy. They are currently working on it but I don’t expect it will be improved that much. The location is great. We didn’t pick the resort we were with a large group but we did have a great stay and it is dog friendly which is awesome.

Great rustic stay at an authentic Ski Lodge. This Resort really paints the picture for a perfect ski getaway, and is just far enough away (yet close enough to) the Village and everything else you need. Staff is also very nice and hospitable. The Units are also big and setup very well for a large or small group.
