First room fridge leaked, phone didn’t work and worst of all BLOOD STAIN on mattress protector. Moved to 2nd room, both TV’s didn’t work and room was below par overall. Moved to 3rd room and this was good. Would not stay here again.

Location was fantastic. Pool was out of service but the nearby beach made it up for it. State of the rooms were terrible. Ants infested and we were given the room 130. Avoid it at all cost. For $180 a night. Maybe it’s the standard there.

Good location for the southern part of Gold Coast

If you want to stay near the Currumbin Wildlife park and in the southern part of the Gold Coast, in a quieter location than Paradise Surfers, then Coolangatta is a good place to stay. Oaks Calypso apartments are easy to find, on the main road very near to the coast Highway (which is just a coastal road) and also near to the beach. Parking is big and convenient. Just opposite to many restaurants and a big shopping mall with a huge supermarket. The pool of the resort is the best part, really nice and suitable for families. The people at the reception are efficient, quick and give plenty of useful information. We had an apartment with 2 connecting rooms. The rooms were clean, but the smell of the carpet is really a minus. It was quite annoying, I had to keep all the windows open to get fresh air in. The apartment had all the needed appliances and services. We used the apartment mainly as touch base to visit the area, so we were practically never in the room. We could clearly hear our neighbor. They also had kids (we have 2 girls), so we were tolerant with their kids noise and I suppose they were tolerant with us, but if you do not have kids, it can be annoying I suppose. All together its a bit tired structure in need of some renovations, but we found what we expected, so no surprises.

This is an all round lovely place to stay. The staff are lovely and helpful, the property itself is well maintained and clean. Great location, walking distance to everything. No need to drive. The pool area is really nice and a large space. Lots of kids if you’d prefer no kids, but a great holiday spot for kids. The pool is big and lovely and plenty of chairs and umbrellas around the pool. The parking was great and very easy. If you arrive early the staff are so good at letting you park and then use the pool areas until check in. It’s not a super modern building but it’s comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!!

The amount of money paid for a 3 night stay was a lot for the room that we stayed. Not on the beach side of the hotel. Room was ok, however fridge so old and rusty and also the dishwasher was chipped and broken. Small things, but still something for them to look at when paying top dollar.

Such a great location opposite the beach and walking paths. Park the car and walk to shops and restaurants. A great pool and lovely gardens. The room had a sea view, away from any poo and road noise. Comfy bed and kitche fully eqipped Fantastic accomodation.

The property was lovely, great for families with kids during school holidays. We, as an older couple, were not comfortable in the pool at 4:30 play time with the noise and activity of what seemed like 1,000 kids but were able to walk to a beautiful beach across the road. The apartment was small and not claustrophobic but nicely designed with a full kitchen and laundry and also within walking to many varied restaurants.

Great spot for families, everything is in walking distance (beach, shopping, dining, grocery). Would be great if the coffee shop located on level 1 was open. General wear & tear in the room & bathroom but was overall quite clean. The pool and slides were fun for the kids.

Thank you to the staff, it was lovely to be offered the use of pool & facilities until our room was ready. (We arrived early) Also when checking out we were able to keep swimming and relaxing for the day. It is an older property but I like that it was comfortable.
