Will book again!

Hotel surprised me with a free upgrade upon checking in! Receptionist, Nurul was super friendly and helpful, loved her welcoming attitude! Area nearby is fantastic with lots of food choices from cafes to hawker centre and restaurants of all different cuisines to be found!

Spacious cozy room

Futuristic reception counter, interesting concept. Beautiful boutique hotel with open shower. Amenities like malls and MRT are just a short walk away. Very prompt service when we required additional coffee capsules for the coffee machine. Free mini bar provided by the hotel as well. Had a lovely stay.

A stay that surprised me ... twice

Friendly host upon checked in, upgraded my room to a suite room w jacuzzi (surprise #1) which totally amazed me; and a hamper of sweet treats (surprise #2) upon check out, which I presumed that it's 'cos of my bday. Will DEFINITELY come back again w my Boyfriend!

Lousy service

The reception is rude. I book this hotel for 500$ to celebrate my gf birthday. They bring security up and ask us leave the room. Lousy just singing a birthday song it's wrong? We didn't make any disturbance and worse rude services

the hotel room is not soundproof. you can hear the cars on the road, you can hear the laughters from the other rooms. I told them it's a birthday celebration for my spouse but no cake or speciality given.

Staycation

It was for my birthday staycation. Staffs were friendly and even waited for 12 midnight to delivery a cake for my birthday, deeply appreciated their efforts. However, shower drainage was not good, I believe the pipe was filled with hair and other dirt. When I took a shower, I can only turn to the minimal as the water will not flow down fast enough and end up flooding in the area. It was really bad. We booked the hotel because of the facility but end up didn't get to enjoy it. The coffee machine was not clean as well, black bits and milky water was coming out from the machine when I havent even put in the capsules. In the end, I need to keep changing the water to clean the machine before I can enjoy one cup of coffee.

We were looking forward to a stay in Klapsons Hotel. We were expecting the raved room with open bathrooms and unique designs of a boutique hotel. However , we were being checked in with a room with no open shower bathroom and the bathroom was choked and the lights were flickering. A technician came to the room to fix the problem promptly but it was pretty inconvenient as we were int he midst to change and to head out. The lights have been changed but was still faulty. The hotel staff has offered a complimentary breakfast for both of us due to our disappointment.

Nice and cosy boutique hotel in a quiet area.

The lobby and the reception area was clean and neat. I was amazed by the front desk area as it was shaped in a ball and we have to climb a small fleet of stairs. The Oasis room was a fantastic big room with a sofa and a outdoor balcony area. However the outdoor balcony sofas were wet and dirty due to a rain earlier on my check-in day. The queen bed was huge and comfortable. They had a seperated toilet (with a small basin and a door) and a shower area (with 2 basins but no doors). It is located in a quiet corner area of Tanjong Pagar where there are alot of cafes, restaurants, eateries, supermarkets and shopping in the area. It is also near to Orchard, Marina and Bugis areas. I would like to thank Sarah Lee, an employee of Klapsons for the pleasant and comfortable staycation.

Value for money

Stayed at Klapsons for one night after our wedding banquet at a restaurant nearby. First of all, the receptionists don't look too happy to serve us, although one offered to walk us to our room but i guess she was obliged to do so. The experience got a little better upon entering into the room. We like what we see. The highlight of the room was the open concept shower and Chopard Toiletries. We requested for another set of toothpaste at 3am and it was delivered to us in a jiffy. Breakfast at the Sleepy Rhino was okay. Don't expect much variety but it was cosy enough and there are friendly staff ready to serve you.

Comfort, great service, mediocre breakfast

Got a really comfortable room with an outdoor shower. The noise of the road outside spoils the ambience a little but the sofa area outside more than made up for it. Just wished it was sheltered so when it rained it won't be too wet to sit on. Breakfast was a little disappointing, little variety and food quality average. But on the whole, it's still a great place for a staycation with your loved one.

Klapsons Boutique Hotel - a relaxing getaway

We stayed in the Oasis room. The room came with complimentary amenities and beverages. The decor was chic and simply perfect for a couple. Extremely comfortable and luxurious. The breakfast was good and sufficient. The only issue we had was hailing a cab in the area. Hence we had to book for one most of the time. Other than that, it was a perfect getaway, in the heart of town.

Less impressive than expected

Location: it was 5-10 mins walk from nearest MRT so it was quite convenient to everywhere Reception: Staff are nice and helpful and the silver dome (where the reception counter is at) sets the tone of the hotel's with imaginative decorations Room: the rooms are spacious and comfortable; bed is supportive and firm that you could get a good sleep. However, there were several disappointments: 1) the bathtub is located inside the room without sufficient ventilation which easily makes the room very humid. If the room temperature is above 25 degrees, everything in the room will get wet due to the high humidity; 2) the feature of the room, the bathtub, is not at good condition and there are water leakage; 3) the toilet and the sink are not clean and are with stains  It is not a bad hotel but I just wonder how much it has spent on maintenance.  
