The Hu was a great spot to stop. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. There was a market and a restaurant inside with a security guard at the front gate so i felt safe leaving the car in the parking space while i took the shuttle bus into Venice.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Excellent stay. This is my 3rd time here now and would highly recommend. Only small problem was being told to take flip flops off when entering pool area. The area was all paved just like outside so dont really understand the reason for this. Apart from that excellent stay.

This place was a pleasant surprise! The camping area is huge, spotless, and super safe. We stayed in a cozy 2-bedroom standalone suite. It had everything we needed - everything was clean, organized, and totally functional. We parked our car right in the camp for free. We didn’t need the shuttle service because it’s just a short walk to the bus station, where we hopped on a bus to Venice. One night, it poured buckets outside, but the rooms were completely dry. We could hear the raindrops tapping on the roof, but it didn’t bother us at all. It felt like camping, and it was an incredible, 5-star experience.

Pros-Felt very safe on site, easy breakfast option In the buffet and they have a restaurant on site. Our chalet unit had a cute little kitchen so self catering was available but only utensils and Wasing facilities supplied. Very easy to book a shuttle to Venice island but it's only a 15min drive over if you've a car. Con-only if your a light sleeper the campsite is fairly close to a major highway roundabout so can be loud with traffic at night if your a light sleeper sensetive to noise ear plugs would be beneficial to you.

This place was phenomenal. The bus to Venice port, which is Venice, was excellent and extremely comfortable and extra affordable! The restaurant had some of the best food we are in Italy. Our single complaint, was the pool and hot tubs were closed. The pool we didn't care so much, but we are backpacking and had REALLY looked forward to the hot tub. They should have told us on check in. We wouldn't have asked for a price reduction, we would have been disappointed, but at least we wouldn't have planned our whole day based on getting back in time to use the hot tub before it closed at 6. I highly recommend if you are going to Venice to stay here!

Wonderful chalet and parking. Very poor communications by staff. Doesn't answer most messages and phone calls. Shuttle to Venice full too often. Best to obtain many written details and shuttle reservation far in advance of stay.
