A must to do in you stay in Singapore long enough

European in Singapore for two years, this is something one has to do, one night in Marina Bay Sands. If you do not do it you will regret it! Awesome swimming pool: the entrance fee is the price of the room. Too bad that the price of the room does not entitle free entrance to Kudeta (Night club) after 9.00 pm.

Megahotel with faultless room but pool a let down

I booked a Premier room, it was on the 7th floor and faced the Gardens on the Bay, not the city view which would be more desirable. The room was very spacious especially the bathroom, although had that annoying fridge where if you move anything you are charged. Cleaning service did not come by 4pm. The hotel design is strange, having to exit the building to enter it through another door to cross the bridges to the Gardens and the shopping centre, and needing to take 2 lifts to get to the rooftop pool. Clearly I stayed here to experience the pool, It is an amazing view, but the pool is cold and it is always windy up there; not enjoyable to lounge and I had to force myself to go in the water for the picture (as was everyone around me). Not really sure I need this experience - suggest at least heat the pool!

It's a place that has to be on any travellers must do list. It lives up to the hype and well worth spending the extra. Couple of notes: their confirmation email stated that check in was at 3:00pm, don't worry about that, walked in with bags at 10:00am and not only did they check us in they upgraded us to a premier suite which was jaw dropping after spending five days in another Singapore tiny hotel room. If anyone is thinking of buying you gift vouchers at hotel make sure you get $20 ones. My sister shouted us two $100 vouchers but we found hard to use as no stores or restaurants would break them, you had to use at least $100 and gift shop refused to exchange them for smaller ones. Then again most of the shops charge at least $150 for at t-shirt so if shopping is your thing, make sure credit card is topped up.

Dreadful - just paying for the pool at the top

Worst 5 star hotel experience of my life. Staff are poorly trained and the place is too big for them to possibly serve you in a timely manner. The level of English spoken by most staff is appalling for a hotel in an English-speaking country. We felt like we were at an airport not a luxury hotel. Some of my complaints: queuing for around 20 minutes to check in; on hold for 22 minutes to the front desk when calling from my room; bags taking around 45 minutes to reach room, Key cards constantly stopping working triggering epic journeys to the front desk using the cumbersome lift system to get replacements; safe in room malfunctioned which took all day to repair before we could get our belongings back; staff member who did repair the safe used foul language in front of our four year old daughter; only instant coffee available in the rooms; stocks of hot drinks not replaced and room not tidied during the day; toilets in public areas were in a disgusting condition. A terrible stay.

Great stay at Marina Bay Sands

The infinity pool on the roof is amazing, it's definitely the best part of the hotel. Being attached to the mall made it convenient for shopping and dining. Service in the hotel was good and friendly. We definitely plan to return.

Alles war super schön ausser Frühstück. Nur bis 10 Uhr 30. Ein Personal hat gesagt wir sollten früher aufstehen dass wir früher kommen. Nicht schön. Wir waren um 10 da. Lange warte Zeiten. Ein No Go. Die haben das Zimmer direkt über uns renoviert. Ein absolutes No Go. Sonst super. Für den Prels nicht Wert. Nur die Hälfte ist es Wert.
