This is a great place to stay. Great location, great service, great breakfast. Perfect hosts who look after all the small details that make the difference. Very highly recommended.
Very quiet considering located on main road. Close to town centre which is ideal.
Very clean and friendly, fealt like home from home.
Lovely views and a pleasant garden at the rear.
Mark made us feel very welcome on check in. It is difficult under the present circumstances to pass on all relevant information but Mark did a good job. The cottage was much more spacious than I had expected and it is extremely comfortable. With just a short 10 minute walk in to town it is just an ideal spot.
Historic building renovated to a high standard . Stylish furnishings and decor. Much attention to detail. Delicious homemade food. Warm, welcoming and comfortable. Hosts catered for our special dietary requirements. In a great position within easy distance of the castle and town centre. Couldn’t be better!

Great location, fantastic friendly hosts. Comfortable and quiet.
This old property has been renovated to an outstanding level of detail and quality. The period features mixed with modern amenities has become a fantastic place to stay. A very warm welcome on arrival, and an exceptionally tasty breakfast in the morning. Whilst on breakfast, the homemade bread, granola and jams were lovely. Mike and Lyn are lovely hosts. Can’t recommend this place enough. While you’re there pop round to Bizzie Lizzie’s for fish and chips.
