The Halston was great. The elevator was a big help. We enjoyed a nice lunch in the hotel before an easy walk to the train station.

Excellent Accommodation

First time we have stayed at the Halston and I don't think it will be the last . Staff were all very professional and polite , the accommodation was stunning , bed was really comfortable , and we even had complimentary crumpets . Parking on the car park next door , a bit pricy tbh 2 nights £32, but convenient .

Stunning hotel and amazing atmosphere , 5 minutes from the train station , the 1 bed apartment exceeding my expectations, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the place was spotless with some crumpets and butter and milk in the fridge was just a brilliant touch , full sky tv and the shower is brand new

Excellent hotel, staff genuinely friendly, caring and professional. Superb location, short walk to city centre. Room immaculate and furnished tastefully. Comfortable bed with high thread count bedding. Wish car parking had more than 20% discount for hotel residents but cannot have everything!

The hotel is VERY nice and the room we got was awesome. The area has seen better days although it is being renovated. The bar action is heavy, so it can be loud very late at night. Very good dinning options nearby.

For the price the room was not great. The common areas and restaurant are nice but the room itself was not worth the high price. Staff were friendly but more focused on the restaurant and bar.

The apartment is spacious except for the sink in the master bathroom. Keep the water very low as not to soak the room. It was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous hotel

What a wonderful hotel is the Halston. Just a short walk from the station and easy walking to the Castle, Cathedral and city centre. It was so lovely to have an apartment at a reasonable price with the extra space of a lounge area and a kitchen with a fridge! Not common in the UK.. the included cookies and crumpets were very much appreciated. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Property in centrally located, with a large (payable) car park to the rear. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious. The apartments come equipt with all household appliances (not a hob but has a oven) and accessories.

Lovely place. Very clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The on-site restaurants are both fantastic and you got a free drink in the on-site restaurant if you booked a meal and in the apartment you got complimentary crumpets butter and milk which was very helpful
