Poor property condition, excellent service

Hard to give this review because the service, communication and booking experience was amazing but the property itself fell short. Dusty rooms, dirty cupboards, worst of all, a toilet that flooded every time we showered. The water leaked and flooded the entire bathroom. Sink was not able to drain water properly - overall seemed this property needs to be renovated / maintained better. Walls were very thin - can here everything through the rooms (even from next door)

I booked a room with city view, all I could see from the window is the wall from a building next door. Was told that city view for my room type is in limited supply due to construction, but this was not communicated prior to check in. Was given a new room. It has open view but still not the city view that was promised. Otherwise, had an enjoyable stay. Room was clean and spacious and bed was comfortable.

Pleasant stay and reception staffs are friendly and polite. Great if hotel could provide regular daily cleaning instead of by request only. Understand the proximity needs during the covid phase but its time to reinstate it.

Great location. Room was good value, comfortable albeit not luxurious. Soundproofing isn't very good, and noise from walkway could be heard. There was also a building under construction next door. All in all, good value and would stay again (once the construction has completed)

Fantastic location! Overnight parking at $20 AUD at secure parking location nearby or $35 AUD on site (multiple entry/exit) was a good provision. Receptionists were professional and very friendly. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch!

Property is conveniently located in the city centre and close to transportation and amenities. Comfortable for a few days stay and staffs are friendly and polite. Nil housekeeping service is the only let down although I am not too inconvenienced by it. Will certainly consider returning to stay here again

Great stay in Citadines

The location of the hotel is good, near tram, airport city bus and Chinatown. The room is big, even has a living room area. We like its kitchenette where we can do simple cooking.
