Amazing place to stay in

Very very nice double-storey house to stay in. Exceeds my expectation as the place is so nicely furnished and comfortable. We had a unit with living, dining, kitchen, two toilets, two bedrooms and a garage. Really amazing to stay in here. Wifi is strong and I can' ask for more.

Spacious accommodation, units are well laid out and supplies in the units were well equipped. One thing that made the stay a little uncomfortable is that the previous guest or housekeeping had left one of the windows without a bug screen open, so there is a lot of bugs in the unit. Each light source in the house had many bugs flying or landed near it.

The home was very spacious and comfortable. Had all the amenities and well stocked kitchen. Restaurants and shops were a 5 minute drive away. Attractions like Lake Tekapo and Church of the Good Shepherd is also very nearby. Wished I had stayed more nights.

Fantastic stay

Spacious and comfortable, there is even a pool and jacuzzi to relax in. Located within a few minutes drive from the village centre and lake.

The house is big and clean

The check-in counter was closed when we reached. We have to check-in at another hotel which is related to this hotel. Upon check-in, the carpark roller shutter was not working, one of the bedroom was locked, telephone was not functioning and etc. Luckily the technician help us to settle the issues.

Comfortable stay

Clean apartment, really comfy beds with heater. Loved the toilets. Everything about the apartment was great. Only downside was that the wifi was only limited and a little slow. We were logged out every half an hour or so and had to re-login.

Quiet spot around Lake tekapo. Nice 2 storey building with your own garage. Just a 5min drive from Lake tekapo and the town centre. Very windy and nice in the summer

BELOW AVERAGE FOR THE PRICE CHARGED

Mantra Lake Tekapo is not really an apartment. It's a set of duplex units rented out & serviced by a cleaning crew. I was assigned unit 13. It was ok but dusty in many places. Main bedroom had a tiny barely queen size bed. Sparsely furnished. No air con. Only heating. Good luck in the summer months! No insect screens so expect a few hundred creepy crawlies when you open the doors or windows to get air. Reference again to no aircon or fan so chicken & egg. Air plus insects or a stuffy room. Your choice! Worse of all at NZ $374 per night, Internet should be fast & unlimited. It's a paltry 500MB free per 24 hours. Once you've shared your days phone cam snaps you're done!!! C'mon Peppers Resorts....you can do better! I won't be returning again!

Excellent place for couples and large families

Very lovely two storey self-contained apartment that comes with a fireplace, garage and laundry equipment. Not far off from town center (walking distance). Washing equipment with soap found in garage, but don't try parking your car in it because its too small and quite inconvenient. Room service is very responsive in resolving maintenance issues, even very late at night. Surrounding pool and greenery very well maintained, very comfortable environment for large families.

Very nice apartment, close to the beach

We had the loveliest and BESTEST stay at this superb designer hotel. It came with a superb fully equipped kitchen, spectacular and spacious dining area and lounge area, super clean bathrooms and bedrooms and most of all, a private garage and a free laundry and dryer service in the garage. Beautiful tasteful furnishings. Small pool on the property too. It was super convenient getting my laundry done in such a wonderful place. The bathrooms were huge and very elegantly designed. Rooms were beautiful and had private balconies. Highly recommend for anyone, kid or adult alike, who would like to put up in Lake Tekapo. Extremely helpful and friendly receptionist. Thanks for the stay although we only had a night there.

Home Feeling Apartment

well equiped apartment, spacious and good set up. We love the living room and the kitchen. The only minor hassle we had is trying to reverse the car out from the garage of unit #1. We need to make few more 3 point turn and pay additional attention to get the car out. As the exit is a narow ramp and too close to the fence.

Superb stay!

Expected to stay in a motel but it turned out to be an extremely lovely apartment! Enjoyed spending a night and wished we stayed even longer. Short drive to the town, and short walk to the lakeside for a splendid view.
