Beautiful and Charming Place to Stay

Absolutely amazing place to stay deep in the wilderness of Alaska. Charming, quiet and exceptionally clean. The restaurant on site, The Dirty Skillet, was amazing as well. Next time we plan to stay longer!

Cute cabins and very nice bathing rooms at the main lodge (these are 'dry' cabins). Quiet and food options nearby.

Great cottages with nice scenery. The shared baths were large and clean. The dirty skillet has excellent outdoor seating with gas fire tables. We were fortunate to have live music.

Disappointed after after all my stays with you.

Well it smells musty, an only warm water is shower on cold. Not hot or warm water to wash dishes, really wondered if sheets were washed based on purfume on sheets but, only on certain part.

The page that I looked at on Travelocity did NOT mention, On the main page, that the cabins didn’t include toilets. As a senior who requires multiple trips to the bathroom each night, this would have been important information to have before deciding to stay there. I thought I was looking at a page for a hotel or resort — not a camping experience.

We were inside of impressionist painting

Staying at this cabin was amazing. The cabin, pond, Jenifer, food, music of live band and you can go from here to glacier cruse, salmon fishing or mountain. If there is vacancy, make the reservation.

Know your details

Cute place but look carefully when making your reservations. Only one of their cabins has bathrooms and showers- all the others require you use their public bathrooms and showers. The restaurant on site was great.

Very charming, great social at the restaurant/ bar. Sent 2 emails 2 voice mails asking about check in, no response. Only one cabin has a bathroom, everybody else shares two. The sign said the cabin was sterilized between each tenant, space, Our cabin was not very clean, lots of dead flies on the windowsills, leftover beer can, the roof leaked around the stove, only one light worked when we arrived turns out 2 were unplugged 1 had a burned out bulb. Basically it’s camping. Bring your own coffee pot only instant coffee provided the restaurant isn’t open in the AM. Would we return, maybe but only if we could get the cabin with bathroom.
