Close to beach, safe environment

Everything was lovely, except the walking up of 2 flights of stairs from the carpark, lugging groceries , luggage etc

Nice cozy place

Found the place last minute when we need to change our plans. Originally, we were worried that the place is abit out of the way since we don't have a car - it turn out that the plus outweighs the concern. The front desk staff is friendly, room is great, with good, clean equipment for cooking. There a nice park nearby, short walk to catch the surf side bus, not too far from broadbeach and good viet food around the corner. Only minus is the lack of view.

Nice and cheap place to stay while in Gold Coast

We stayed in the Santana Resort for 6 nights from 19 Oct till 24 Oct 2012. The location is in a residential area so it was very quiet in the night. The room given to us (room 29) was very big and clean but the only thing was it is on the 3rd floor and there was no lift, so need to climb up and down everyday. As it is self-contained, we used the washing machine and dryer to wash our clothing.. 1 packet of detergent was provided as was 1 roll of toilet paper. (Hint : either bring more rolls of toilet paper or go Woolworths to buy 2 rolls, haha). Overall the quality of the hotel and room was above average and my kid also love the heated pool and jacuzzi. Recommended for family.

Santana Resorts - a good place to stay

It was close to pacific fair shopping centre Two stops away from Florida gardens tram stop and 3 stops away from Cavill avenue stop for surfers paradise beach The only thing I would point of out is that we paid an xtra $125 for an extra person for 5 nights -even though it said on the Adevrtisememt that it caters for 3 people When I have already paid for the queen bed and a sofa bed included in the living room This is the only I could point out. As I have already paid over $1300 for the five nights It was still reasonably priced With laundry, kitchen and dining in one bedroom apartment There’s a pool and a good security garage for a car And the unit is reasonably 5 to 7 minutes away from the beach

The property is outdated and badly in need of renovation. I thought it was too expensive, the oven was dirty, the carpets are grubby and stained, the walls need a good coat of paint. Certainly is not what I would expect of a resort.

Good location between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. One tram stop to Broadbeach and two stops to Surfers Paradise. Cross the Gold Coast Highway to walk to the beach. Quiet complex, clean pool, secure parking, clean apartment with all equipment for an enjoyable stay

The property was in a convenient and quiet location. I was surprised that the room did not have air conditioning. I realized after checking in that I had booked this room and had assumed that all rooms had air conditioning. The room is looking old and in need of some repairs, but for the price was overall very happy.

The room stunk of filth, the cleaners did not do their job properly, spider webs in multiple areas and it had a terrible smell that just lingered all the time, even after we applied some plug in freshners, the smell was still around. No air con only fans that did nothing, not the appropriate stay at a place like the GC where temperatures go in the low 30s. Owner should spend some money to update soon. Definitely would NOT recommend this place for a stay, not even for one night.
