This the worst most dirty hotel. We told the staff how dirty the room was and they did not even care. The breakfast was a joke don’t even have eggs. The safe did not work we asked for it to be fixed and they did not. To hotel smelled of natural gas. The sheets and curtains stained. The bathroom full of black mold.and I want Hotels.com refund my money

Hotel far from beach

Staff not friendly and helpful. The toilet wooden door was rotting at the bottom. Aircond not strong. Corridor was blocked by iron stand.

Checked in service is quite satisfied. however once reach the room, the air con is out of order and requested the maintenance staff to fix it. After 40 mins fixed, is still no cold at all and the staff keep said no available room for us as is different type of room we booked and we need top up to get better room. This is no a good service or answer because since they unable to fix the air con, they should change any room even is free upgrade. After that we have no choice and shift to next door which is a twin size bed that which we requested for a king size bed. Hence, not a good customer service they provided. However, the restaurant staff is friendly.

Our room was barely passable for a night's stay. The air conditioner gives a comforting hum during operation. The toilet bowl broke one hour before we booked out and provided a private pool for us at no extra cost! Definitely a recommendation for those colleagues which I moderately dislike.

Horrible

Check-in time is 2pm but we had to wait till 3.30pm to get a room. Ants were all over the entire room. Bedsheets had sands and what looked like leg hair stubbles from the previous guests. And these were inside the covers, directly on the bed itself! Goes to show that housekeeping did not change the bedsheets at all. Floors were so thin you could hear the guests upstairs. Housekeeping did not come the next day until we requested for it at 3pm. Even then we had to wait 2 hours. Public water dispenser had replaced the individual bottled water given to each room but it was forever empty when we were back. It was such a horrible experience. We expected better for the price we paid. One of the worst hotels we ever stayed in.

A hotel value for money.

As a few have mentioned about the construction works next door, a value for money hotel for short stay, parking is limited for few cars. Overcrowded during breakfast.

Full View of the sealine.

Very excellent place to stay except for the breakfast. If there is serving of Local food e.g. penang laksa, lor bak(Halal) will be perfect for a great start.

Value for money, great and friendly staff

Value for money - clean, tidy, and nice room with seaview balcony. Air con could have been stronger due to the hot weather, and wifi signal was intermittent and weak.

Short Getaway

The lobby staffs were great. They helped us in every expect. Thumps up to MS Zubaidah. Door boy was very humble. Security guy was very friendly. Our room at 603 had a great unblocked Seaview. Great stay.

Naza Talyaa Hotel

Hotel is the first hotel of the Tanjong Bungah/Batu Ferringhi strip. Large foodcourt opposite the hotel and bus stop is about 5min walk from lobby. It is quite convenient. Swimming pool is terribly dirty/oily. People are allowed to go into the pool without proper swimming attire so I didn't dare use it. Breakfast isn't that much to shout about. Beds in the room are way too soft for support and comfort. Causes backaches. Lighting in the room is bad - you cannot read in the night. It is too dim. My room had 2 bulbs out on the first night but the staff promptly fixed it upon request. Air-con thermostat doesn't seem to work. It blasts super cold air throughout the night. Shower is good and powerful :) The chambermaid also didn't replenish the empty box of tissue because "the whole hotel had run out of tissue". I had to use toilet rolls instead.
