Outstanding service & comfort

Staying here is like staying with a long lost friend who knows when to talk and when to leave you alone. The facilities are outstanding, putting most 5* hotels to shame. The hospitality is excellent, the breakfasts are worth staying for in their own right. In future if I am in Cardiff for business I am going to make a point of staying here, its only a short drive and more than worth it. Great local walks as well

We had a long weekend in Starling cottage. It was peaceful, quaint, comfortable and clean. It was a good base to explore the local area and visit our friends in Neath. I would definitely return.

Felt extremely relaxed and safe in this beautiful cottage. Was easy to access nearby villages and the train. Alyssa was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend it.

Lovely place for a break

Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very good for dogs - there is a paddock where they can roam freely and the owners thoughtfully provide poo bags! We stayed four nights during the September heatwave and the cottage stayed nice and cool during the day. The shower was a bit underpowered, but there was plenty of hot water for baths, washing up, etc. The quaint local towns of Llantwit and Cowbridge are a short drive away, and offer plenty to do and see. The farm shop at Cowbridge is great, with a cafe and play equipment for kids. Beach at Llantwit is disappointing if you are after sand - all big rocks and limestone pavement

Comfy cottage

Comfy cottage with everything we needed, suits us very well for a short stay with our dogs. There is a really good paddock for exercising the dogs, and lots of local walks nearby.

Cosy cottage

The cottage was very comfortable for two of us and 2 small dogs.The bed was very comfy and we slept well. The dog exercise/ picnic area was very handy. Great location for us.

Lovely cosy cottage in quiet location. Well equipped and log burner was the perfect touch for a cool Autumn night. Short walk down quiet lane to lovely welcoming pub with great Sunday Lunch. Great walks in the area along the coast. Nice to see that little has changed in the 35 years since we lived locally.

Short stay at Moorshead Farm

Just come home from a wonderful stay. We were in Wren cottage which was perfect for us as we have a little dog and this is one of two of the cottages which has a garden and a spectacular view. This is definitely the place to go to get away from it all but still be within easy reach of Cardiff Bay which is beautiful to visit. John and Sian are the perfect hosts ( living the perfect life, in my opinion :) ) and could not do enough for us. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Lovely cottage only a short drive from Cowbridge, a very pleasant town with traditional High Street and good Amenities. Very peaceful setting. We loved it and would definitely like to stay again.
