Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. There’s a hot tub to enjoy with a sauna. The room needs more ventilation during summer. Might be abit warm during sleep. Maybe a ceiling fan or something might help.

Great view of the river. Very comfortable bed and sparkling clean and spacious room. Host can consider adding a few bowls to the otherwise well-equipped kitchen. Beef stragonoff at the restaurant is delicious.

Honest hotel

This is our second stay at the hotel. We left 2 things in the room the first time we were here. They were returned to us when we came back. Many thanks to the friendly and honest staff.

Beautiful River View

Easy to locate. Friendly reception. Room is complete with kichenette and spacious private toilet. Wifi is strong. Balcony offers view of river. Very comfortable stay and reasonbly priced.

Easy to locate, clean,kitchenette, jovial owners,

Jovial and always happy owners. Tho hardly spoke English, we had a great time communicating with body language and laughter. Right next to highway and a river, it is quiet and so easy to locate. We missed the Northern Lights only bec of weather otherwise the sky could be seen from our apartment. Lovely little balcony attached to each apartment. Kitchenette with basic utensils hobs, oven, fridge proved really helpful. The shower room with attached toilet was exceptonally big, the only downside was missing hooks to hang your clothes when you take shower.

Well equipped kitchen

The apartment came with a fully furnished kitchen and free wifi. The apartment is located beside a stream, and is a 10min drive to the nearest town. Overall, space seems a bit on the small side.

Stayed for one night with my husband. Plenty of parking. The one member of staff (30. Oct 2024) who checked us in, cooked our dinner, and cleaned up was awesome. We found it a little inconvenient to exit the reception area to re-enter the area with the rooms, especially as it was drizzling. The kitchenette was stocked with the necessary tools for self-catering. The sauna and hot tub were clean and adequate. Unfortunately, our shower flooded the entire bathroom. The hotel is a little remote, but the view outside of our window made up for that. Thus, we both had a good night's sleep and found the hotel very peaceful. It would be a good stopover to the Snaefellsness peninsula. Overall, a pleasant stay and would stay again.

Rooms were nice setting behind the hotel was pretty with a river. Went to breakfast the next morning we already paid for and no one was there. After 30 minutes still no one. Have a plan b for breakfast.

There is a kitchen, a semiautomatic washer/dryer, breakfast buffet. It is very thoughtful. There are pots and pans utensils, very convenient. The washer is a plus. The Only thing that is not as expected is the water flow/sip out of the shower stall, we need to wipe it dry from time to time.

Good place for a stop over if you're travelling. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom with a washing machine. A kitchen with basic equipment. If you're a light sleeper this place may not be for you as it's right by a major road and fairly noisy.

Absolutely great. Never expected the hot tub or dry sauna. Also full kitchen setup in room. Dinner here was very good. You have to try the cod stew and rye bread. I will ask for recipe.
