All homes are individually decorated and offer balconies and ceiling fans. We arrived early but were able to use the pool. Lovely cannon firing ceremony at sunset with a sunset shot from the bar. We ate wings and a pretzel from the bar which were both delicious. Room was large and the bed was really comfortable.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans cet hôtel calme malgré la proximité de l'Overseas Highway. Une décoration globale sans doute à rafraîchir et à moderniser (ce qui est prévu pour l'accueil) mais les appartements restent confortables (nous avions un appartement avec 2 chambres séparés du salon-salle à manger). La piscine et le ponton ont une vue très agréable, ne pas y louper les couchers de soleil qui sont superbes. La piscine est sans doute un peu petite car il n'est pas possible de se baigner dans la mer de ce côté de l’île. Il faut aller sur l'autre rive, ce qui est très rapide. Néanmoins, en ce moment, les plages des Keys sont envahies d'algues très nauséabondes, ce qui n'est pas très agréable. Mais côté hôtel pas d'algues fort heureusement. Il faut aller bien sûr à Key West pour l'ambiance et l'architecture si typiques. Pas de ménage durant le séjour dans les appartements, ce qui peut manquer. Globalement, l’hôtellerie est plus cher qu’ailleurs en Floride, ce qui n’est pas justifié, il faut sans doute y rester moins longtemps.

Exceeded expectations!

We’re a family of 5, so we’re always using sofas and pull out beds, these were very comfy and everyone slept well. Didn’t use a lot of the amenities, but place was very clean and everyone was super friendly.

It was very frustrating that during our cumulative total of eight days stay, seven nights, the housekeeping plan was to only clean our room one time and it was on the seventh night. When we asked about this three days in, they said OK we can probably fit in one cleaning for you midway through your stay but that will be the only one, if you desire any additional cleanings that will be $150 each. When they cleaned the room, I would hardly call it clean. That was a little bit frustrating. Beyond that, we thoroughly enjoyed the property and our time at this particular Bluegreen resort.

Check in was quick. We stopped on our way down to Key West but the room wasn't ready, it was about 2pm. We were fine with that we told them we would be back late. We got back about 11:30pm. Check in was quick but the gentleman working had just started his ahift but not trying to be mean he smelled horrible. It was hard to stand there and sign the paperwork. The room is beautiful !!!! Clean and free bag of popcorn. TV in bedroom keeps going out. There is no storm outside but the inclement weather sign keeps coming on....ugh. Wanted to watch tv and relax before to sleep.

Loved the spacious apartment & balcony, nice big beach towels, pool & hot tub were lovely, enjoyed Barnacle Barney's mostly though food choices a little limited. Would've been nice to be able to borrow beach chairs & umbrella for Sombrero. We like having double sinks in the bathroom but we're spoiled :-) Bed was very comfortable. Great location in Marathon -- we had a wonderful vacation.

I liked that it was quiet and set back from the highway. Felt very secure. Staff were friendly and supportive. The kitchen was small but we only cooked breakfast. Could have used a Keurig. Lobby coffee ran out fast! MaryJo at Barnacle Barney’s and Pamela the activities director were outstanding

Rooms were nice size but sofa cushions was not comfortable and kept sliding off under you . Beds were awesomely comfortable. Very clean and quiet. Good location. Shutting down pool at 8pm sucked. Smells from seaweed was horrible. Need more options from tiki bar..liquor and meals.., not a resort more like a hotel...and where were the hammocks??..staff were very nice and accommodating. Will refer.

Can't recommend highly enough

The Bluegreen is a great place. The staff was excellent and our suite was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Our bedroom and bed were huge and our boys were very comfortable on the pull-out. Everything you need is there- the pool, the tiki bar and programming for the family. In the evenings you can hang out on the dock when the fishing trips come in and cut up their catch. It draws the tarpon, pelicans and even some nurse sharks in. My sons loved it. Highly recommend this place for families. We will definitely be back.
