Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchenette Ours is located at Platous Gate 9 and has a balcony. The frontdesk is a 10mins walk from Oslo S and the aparment is another 8 mins walk. Has a nearby REMA 1000 grocery store and nearest bus stop is Toyengata; where there are lots of halal food and grocery stores.

Clean and trendy apartments, great place to stay!

Loved the clean and cosy apartment. Got upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment. The place really feels like home, with a balcony and a not too bad view of the city. Too bad it was cold while we were there, did not really make full use of that. Bonus with the supermarket downstairs, very convinent with the high cost of living in Oslo. Location wise, it's about 10mins walk away from the train station. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay somewhere near the city area but yet away from the main hustle and bustle. Would definately stay there again.

Sentral beliggenhet, 10 min gange fra Oslo S.

Bra leilighet i 5. etasje, rolig, rent med noen minuser. Lite og trangt bad, en person på 100 + hadde sannsynligvis ikke kommet seg inn i dusjen. Dusjdørene lot seg ikke åpne helt. Fant ingen el-kontakt på badet. Hadde problemer med innlåsing noen ganger. Dette er spissfindigheter, og vi kan godt tenke oss å bo der igjen.

Buena opción para pasar unos días en Oslo

Bien en general. Apartamento para dos personas con espacio suficiente. No lejos de la estación y la zona nueva, a un paseo del centro. Hay un súper justo debajo, que va bastante bien. Lo único negativo es que había pagado una cama supletoria y no estaba lista, aunque la llevaron luego. Y me pareció peor que pasaron a recogerla cuando ya no hacía falta sin avisar de que irían a por ella. Creo que si van a pasar al apartamento deberíán avisar antes. Pero vamos, que bien, volvería sin problemas.

Misleading Booking Process, But Decent Stay

The apartment itself was nice, and the people were friendly, but the booking process was frustrating and misleading. Hotels.com states you pay at the venue, but that’s not actually the case. Since the property isn’t manned 24/7, they send a separate payment link outside of Hotels.com. If you don’t see it in time, they will cancel your booking—even though you thought you had a confirmed reservation. When my booking was canceled, I had to rebook at a higher price, and they didn’t refund the difference, which was extremely frustrating. Check-in and the apartments are in different locations, which isn’t clearly explained. Overall, while the stay itself was fine, this venue should not use Hotels.com if they operate this way. The platform is not suited for their process, and it creates a misleading experience for guests.

Finding the office to check in was simple, contrary to other reviews - I had no trouble. There are three flights of stairs that are unfriendly to wheeled luggage. No problem leaving my luggage at 9am after disembarking my cruise, but I was told although the apartment was not ready (understandable at that time) they would contact me when it was, so I could move in early. By 3.30pm i received no notification, so just returned to the office and sure enough, it was ready. Poor communication when i was told one thing, confirmed with them and reassured it would happen and then it didn't. The girl checking me in was training, stumbled a bit, but had no idea whatsoever about the actual location and area in general. After walking in the rain further than necessary following their map, once inside the locked compound the map was very poor and i ended up at three buildings before i finally located the correct one where my apartment was located. To add insult to injury, there is a gate right next to the correct building! Within three minutes from the office! I have no idea why they direct guests to walk twice as far as necessary. This was poor, and something that you don't experience stating at a hotel. During my stay, simply opening the curtains in the morning, the whole curtain rod fell from ceiling - the hollow wall anchors letting go. I called the office, and within a few hours, maintenance arrived and fixed it, as well as a few other maintenance issues.

A great, simple little apartment, 10 minute walk to the central train station. We had no car, and this location was well suited for walking & public transportation. Simple kitchen with the basic equipment icluding tea pot, coffee maker, microwave. Zero supplies, not even salt though. We did wish it was a bit warmer, but the apartment was perfect for sleeping!
