Solo Japan June 2024

Since first coming in August & September 2023, I have been familiar with this property. With my second trip this year in June, this place is as good as ever! Washed my clothes daily after coming back from my railway day trips. Also very convenient with a Lincos Supermarket, Starbucks and restaurants on the first floor. Bashamichi Station on the Minatomirai Line is also located right below, which makes it convenient for my railway trips. Will definitely come back again on future trips to eastern Japan whenever possible!

Good stay !

It was a comfortable stay. Staffs at the reception and over the phone are very kind and prompt. The room has almost everything such as kitchen wears, detergent, and bathroom amenities. One thing I would add is that the AC was making some noises sounded like a phone vibrating somewhere far from the room.

The room and the reception is fantastic. Room was big and spacious with ample room to lay out luggages for packing and unpacking. Location was near to Cosmos, Cup Noodle Museum and World Porters. Great view also, I was on the side where I could see Mount Fuji in the morinng. If you are driving you need to take note of a few things. 1. Parking is via a car lift so after you drive down to B1, you should see a Oakwood Suites entrance. You need to unload your luggage there. There should probably be more signage or perhaps someone there to guide cause I was quite lost where to park. There is no concierge to help you with your luggage so you will need to move your luggage yourself up to the reception at level 46 to check in. 2. After the entrance would be the car lift. You need to wait for your turn to park and retrieve your car. There are also parking hours where there is an attendant on duty. 3. After driving into the car lift you would need to remove all the things you need, the attendant would give you a card for you to bring to the reception to make parking payment. 4. When retrieving your car, you would need to pass the card to the attendant at the car park lift for them to retrieve your car. Would suggest updating the web site with parking access information.

The hotel amenities and service was above my expectation. The staff were courteous and efficient. They were also pro-active. Due to early arrival I had to leave my luggage at concierge. When I came back to check-in, the already arranged for the luggage to be in the room. Special mention for staff named Minyi. She was most patient in helping to forward our luggage to the next hotel. Kudos to her for the charming smile she has.

I love how clean and spacious my room was. It had a good view from the room and the reception floor. The resident lounge was also very lush. It is conveniently located above the train station and a supermarket. It was close to major tourist attractions.

The room is huge and with good views of the city. Lounge area is 24 hrs access with free drinks provided. Kitchenette is well-equiped. Good location - few meters from subway station exit, supermarket at level 1 and 15-20 minutes walk to sights like Redbrick warehouse, Cup Noodle museum. Staff are very helpful and speak good english.

1. Nespresso non-reusable capsules versus resuable capsules may be a controversial issue. 2. I like the big size of our plates and the steel pots and pans and the large soup bowls. I like the kitchen sink. I like they gives me clean kitchen towel everyday. The dish washer works well but a bigger dish washer will be fantastic.

Very nice apartment style property, the rooms are well appointed with everything you need. Great service. The property is impeccably clean. There are some dining options in the hotel, and a small grocery store and other restaurants in the plaza outside at ground level. Very close to Bashamichi metro station and Minato Mirai. I would come again.
