A nice resort in a stunning location.

Our accommodations were in a beautiful location . albeit at a high altitude which for some would require a challenge climbing stairs and hills. The amenities: pool, spa, tennis court, miniature golf, DVD library were excellent for our stay. Our unit itself was spacious and clean . I would definitely consider a return visit. The restaurant, pool bar and mini mart aptly provided us with delicious food and beverage although we did buy groceries and wine for our unit. Staff was friendly and supportive.

OK but not 4 star

Not a 4 star. The location is beautiful but very little to do in the evenings. The apartments are dated and definitely not up to 4 star standards. The pool area is nice and overall it is kept clean.

We spent one week in a one bedroom apartment in this wonderful property. The location is magical, right next to the Cabo Girao sea cliff with great views to the water, quiet, away from the hubbub of the towns, yet reasonably close to most sightseeing and a good base to explore the entire island. The apartment was clean, spacious and immediately felt like home. Nice bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and great balcony. Parking right below. The property has a convenient grocery store, two nice pools, a spa and several other amenities we did not use because we were out and about the whole day. Overall, we were very satisfied by this stay and it was excellent value for money.

Rooms were smelly and in need of refurbishment - we booked the ground floor one bedroom apartment and had to switch to another apartment due to the odor. The second bedroom also had an odor but not as strong as the first one - recommend booking larger room on higher floors or requesting odor less room; hotel needs to refurb these rooms on the ground floor

Perfect location in the center for the southside of the island, therefore an ideal starting point for all of your dautrips around the island. You do need a car as the nearest town/supermarket is a 15 minutes drive on the twisty and hilly roads. We really liked the spacious appartment (MC2) and the stunning sight over the valley and sea. This was way better as expected on forehand. The location on the hill 600m above the sea has a very nice climate in August, as there is no airco and we didn't miss it neither. The pools, spa, tennis, minigolf are fun althought some maintenance has to be done. The restaurants are ok, although we didn't make very much use of them.

The complex had everything we needed. Spacious and clean apartment with an amazing view over Funchal and the sea, with a nice size balcony and outdoors seating. The downside was the road in-between the accommodation and the facilities. It was quiet late at night although the traffic in the morning with all the tourist vehicles coming up the hill was rather noisy. We live in a village, so noticed it. It was quiet by the pool side though. It has a restaurant and pool bar that does snacks at reasonable prices. There are two pools and sometimes I had the pool to myself to do laps. My highlight. Communication was excellent. Lots of information on what to do, and just ask if you don't know. The complex organises event nights, excursions, transportation, anything you need. It is on the highest point and away from Funchal, so if you want to be away from the capital which we found too built up, this is a great place. We were surprised how built up the south of the island is. Sometimes though, being high up, it attracts the clouds and cooler than being on the lower level of Funchal. Not much there without transport. You can get a local bus to Funchal and Lagos and a few other places. Or a shuttle bus from the complex, or a taxi. The complex organise with a few restaurants a shuttle bus to and from, which was perfect. A perfect place to relax and do some excursion and/or walks. I would recommend it for value.

A tidy, functional one bedroom apartment - that met all of our requirements. It was great to have a fully operational kitchen which gave us the choice of eating in. The food in the restaurant was spot on - well priced and a diverse menu with plenty of choice for families and those on a budget. Great accomm👍

Super endroit oĂč sĂ©journer Ă  MadĂšre

L’appartement est trĂšs spacieux, propre et confortable. Il possĂšde tout le nĂ©cessaire pour cuisiner et on se gare facilement. L’environnement est calme. Le point gĂȘnant est juste la porte commune avec un autre appartement. Il y a de nombreuses activitĂ©s dans les parties communes : billard, piscines, mini golf etc. L’emplacement Ă©tait parfait dans les hauteurs prĂšs du point de vue de Cabo Girao. Il faut ĂȘtre Ă  l’aise avec la conduite en montagne mais cela est valable tout le temps Ă  MadĂšre. Le dĂźner au restaurant de l’hĂŽtel Ă©tait trĂšs bon mais les quantitĂ©s un peu justes. L’happy hour au bar est bien apprĂ©ciable et Ă  un tarif trĂšs abordable. Le petit dej buffet Ă©tait complet avec suffisamment de choix. Il y a 2 restaurants de spĂ©cialitĂ©s Ă  proximitĂ© aussi trĂšs bien et avec des prix abordables. C’est un endroit convivial Ă  MadĂšre oĂč nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

C'est un complexe hotelier qui a beaucoup d'activités ausi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants (tennis, golf, piscine,atelier, etc...). Il y a toutes les informations nécessaires pour organiser des visites à l'accueil. Le personnel est fort sympathique. C'est un endroit agréable entouré d'une magnifique végétation.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und brĂ€uchte hier und da eine Sanierung. Die Möbel sind ebenfalls schon sehr alt. Die Betten waren unglaublich unbequem. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war umfangreich und lecker, das Abendessen Buffet war den Preis leider absolut nicht wert. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, außerordentlich freundlich und engagiert. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor der TĂŒre vorhanden. Der kleine Minimarkt im Hotel hat faire Preise und alles was man zur Grundversorgung braucht.

God beliggenhed med udsigt over vandet. Dejlig rummelig lejlighed med alt hvad man behÞver. God service i receptionen. Pool bar/restaurant har et lidt kedeligt menukort med pommes frites til alt. Det er nÞdvendigt at tage en elevator fra receptionen for at komme til poolen. Middag i den rigtige restaurant var en god oplevelse. Der er ingen indkÞbsmuligheder i nÊrheden udover den lille kÞbmand pÄ selve resortet.

A szållåshely kifejezetten messze van a vårostól. Csak taxival lehet megközelíteni, tömegközlekedés nincs! Ezt mindenki vegye figyelembe és szåmolja hozzå a költségekhez!
