Amazing location beside a harbour and Downtown

Very accessible to many areas around downtown Auckland. If you're coming from the airport, it is extremely convenient. Take the airbus express shuttle bus which runs every 10-15mins to and from Auckland airport and downtown Auckland. Get off at the last stop (Downtown) and it's only a 5-10min walk to the hotel. Hotel has a great location. Near the harbour, where you can visit various places like Waiheke Island or Devonport. There's a bunch of bars right below the hotel so you won't go hungry. If you are looking to cook instead, there is a supermarket called Countdown (Auckland City) along Quay Street, which as an extra 5 minute walk from the harbour. Went in early June. Beginning winter period. Temp was 10-15 degress C. If you love cold weather, a jacket would be enough... Unless it rains and gets windy. Note: BEGINNING WINTER.

Great location and parking situation

Great location. Overall highly recommend. Had drinks/snacks in the minibar available for purchase. Rooms are in good condition. Bathroom shower leaked a bit onto the floor with each use, but hopefully was room specific. Otherwise great! AC system is good and quiet. Parking was $40/night with very easy in/out access. Can use the same elevator to get to your room/lobby.

Noisy rooms with a view.

Harbour view rooms which we stayed in on 2nd and 5th floor, suffered from noise from the restaurants below. Thought it would be better on the 5th floor after the first night, but not. The windows on the fifth have very poor seals to keep noise out .All windows and sliding doors are single glazed, and old.Staff at hotel dealt really well with room change request.

I acknowledge that the hotel in situated in hospitality precinct with certain noise levels accepted but the room we were put in was right above the pub with live music which was very loud and continuous. it is a pity when you have a night away as a treat. Granted if we were on higher level that wouldn’t have been an issue but for the money we paid for the room it definitely wasnt worth it.

Great location, with entrance from Viaduct Basin Marina with loads of restaurants and short walk to Downtown Shops and the Harbor ferries. Washer and Dryer in the room was very useful.

Disappointed with Sebel. Stayed there in past but studio room we got was very small city view was a car park across road. Desk clearly didn’t fit well in room. Bed was comfortable. Bath room was ok but shower pressure was marginal. Probably would choose here again. Had booked for 3 ppl but all they did was add a rollaway that took up space in front of desk. Had the bed taken away and my daughter didn’t stay with us.

Great hotel.

We were in Auckland for a quick overnight stay, the Sebel is extremely central with an entrance to the viaduct. It wasnt that noisy either. The apartment had a big bathroom with a bath and it had a laundry in the room
