We had a pleasant stay at Mantra 2 Bond street. It is located in CDB with easy access to circular quay, the rocks, opera house, train station, eateries, convenient stores etc.

Love the place (a bit noisy though!)

Lower floors are noisy due to construction below. They provide earplugs but be mindful of this when booking discounted room rates.

The restaurant Momento downstairs is an absolute gem. Every dish executed to perfection, and would highly suggest anyone staying to try their dishes

Great hotel in an awesome location

i had a studio apartment on 11th floor. Comes with very nice kitchen facilities such as microwave, stove, utensils etc. The toilet had a washing machine and ironing board as well. The cafe serves delicious dinners too! Staff at the hotel and cafe are very nice. very near to wynyard train station. Also a nice walkable distance to places such as circular quay, shopping malls and the town hall area. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Sydney.

OK rooms, terrible washroom, poor customer service

Hotel is right in centre of the CBD, close to the Rocks, Harbor Bridge, Opera House, Circular Quay and Darling Harbor (all within one kilometer walk). Their renovated rooms / studios are quite nice but washrooms are quite old, dated and tired. Don't expect any good customer service. House keeping is not good either. If you don't mind all these negative points, then otherwise its a OK place to stay. We stayed 7 nights during Xmas week and didn't face any major issue but these small matters frustrated us throughout our stay.

Great location, Expensive parking fee

The place was good. Hotel does not provide concierge service. Guest need to transport their own luggages to their room. A hassle if you are travelling with young children. Parking fee: AUD60 per night Airport taxi: AUD55 per taxi/way

Nice spacious room

Our room was nice and spacious and well decorated. The hotel is located near shopping areas and restaurants.However I find it a little annoying that the is a small platform raise when you enter the bathroom.I guess it to prevent water from flowing into the room but I hurt my foot a couple of times because most hotels dont usually have it and you cant see it at night. Overall its a nice room with good service from the staff.

Great location for first time visitors

Location: Very easily accessible from airport via train, about 20 minutes ride and 5 minute walk. Woolsworth supermarket, pharmacy, fast food all within a block away. Walking distance to major attractions within city centre such as the Rocks, harbour. Walk a little more about 20 minutes to reach the fish market. We (me wife and baby) spent our time mostly walking between sights. Hotel room: we were given a junior suite with a queen size bed and an extra sofa bed. The suite comes with a fully equipped kitchenette with stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, utensils, cutlery. Great for families. Toilet has a washing machine and dryer. No issues with the room, except a little difficulty adjusting the climate control and working the washing machine but overall well maintained and fully functional. Breakfast: our stay came with breakfast which is at their small restaurant on the ground level. A nice menu of modern dishes such as egg Benedict on sourdough. Was a nice change from a buffet style breakfast but for those who prefer a buffet style won't find it here. Overall: would choose this service apartment again if visiting in the future and staying in the central area. Highly recommended for families with children.

Great location. Doing upgrades at moment so pool out of order and scaffolding around building. Furnishings in foyer in need of a bit of tlc. Amenities in room great. Bed comfortable. Would stay again, but ask for a room that didn't have a view of a brick wall of the building next door (if possible)
