Booked in online for 3 kids 1 adult booked a room with 2 double beds. Ended up only one queen bed in the room so myself and a child slept on the floor. Also never had an email about a bond.

Hotel is situated in a beautiful park. Very central and walkable distance to Queen street, K’road and other busy areas. Hotel is dated, but mostly well maintained. Our aircon in the room didn’t work but we were provided with an electric fan. The main pool was green for our two day stay. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

This property did not address our special requests adequately. Asked for a low floor room (so that my wife could access the room without using the elevator). Our provided room was 8th floor and they had no solution for my wife to use the stairs. The only option they said was a 4th floor room that was flooded and out of service. They even suggested I cancel booking and go elsewhere. This all came out after a 24hr flight. I finally showed them a way my wife could use the stair well so we stayed. The air conditioning was not working both days. 28°C They should have advised me in advance with the advice to cancel, not when I arrived. Staff we met were polite, and provided a fan, but the property failed us.

Our initial room aircon was broken and spa function was not working, after contacting room service and getting in touch with the staff in the lobby, we were met with swift service and was moved to a new room which became available the next morning. Besides that, the room was good with a nice view and the staff were very accommodating, even moving our luggage while we were out to the new room. Would recommend and would stay again.

Very friendly staff. Some maintenance issues are excess water landing on floor when showering. Shower only has 1 side which is movable that can cause someone to slip and fall Big step down out of shower. Clip on tile where it meets the carpet Caught toe on it

I loved the hotel room. It is the nicest one I've been in during my stay in Auckland. Fortunately I could pay to park in the underground carpark before I arrived but I did not see that it was paid parking when I booked the room.

The area around the pool a lot of bird poo. Didnt get any milk in room both days and didn't refile tea bags second day. Loved very hot shower and power of shower but water did splash over floor.

The apartment was comfortable and had a great view. My main complaint is that the air conditioner did not work. I had two unpleasant nights until they brought a fan. Air conditioner was never fixed, although I informed them of the problem on my second day.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay – thank you so much for having us! We absolutely loved having our own spa in the room, the stunning view from our balcony, and the ability to cast movies from our phone to the TV using Google Chromecast. However, we did notice that the outdoor spa next to the pool wasn’t working during our stay (front desk said it is out of order) and the air conditioning in our room could have been more effective. We hope these issues are addressed soon. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and appreciate your hospitality. Thanks again for a memorable stay!
