Overall very good. 15mins walk from zhong shan station which has a mall. 1 stop away from taipei main station so quite convenient. Hotel was quite clean. Just the pillows slightly dirty. Got free washing machine and dryer on 5th floor very convenient. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The property had a 7-11 right to the next building which was very convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed and room was clean and organised.

Due to the heavy rain outside, there were some water dripping into the room thru the window. Not a huge issue. There was no heater / hot air for the air con, during the days we went it happened to be quite cold due to the sudden change in weather.

The staff was amazing and the location’s really central and convinent. There’s a cluster of shopping malls just 750m away from the hotel and the hotel is right in the middle of two subway stations. ( both very centralized) The walls, carpet and curtains in the room were a little old but everything else was really clean. The toilet was very spacious and clean and we had a very enjoyable stay there!

Clean and comfortable stay

The hotel is in between 2 mrt stations- 10 mins walk to Zhongshan and 7 mins walk to Songjiang Nanjing. Advise to take Exit 8 from Songjiang Nanjing station where there is an elevator. Don't expect the hotel exterior to look fancy. But the room itself is clean and the toilet is quite spacious too. However, the walls of the room are a little dirty. Would be good if they could repaint the walls to give it a fresher look.

Cozy nice hotel with exceptionally good service!

This is my second time staying in this hotel and I must say that the hotel had once again impressed me with their good service! The hotel is generally very clean and cozy with very polite staff. It made me feel at home every time I went back to the hotel because the staff at the reception would stand up to greet us, no matter how late it was. But what impressed me the most was that one of the staff even went out of her way to help me settle a "dispute" with a cab driver: I took a cab to get last minute souvenir and the cab driver insisted that I take his cab to the airport. However I felt really uncomfortable in his cab as he told his friend (over the walkie talkie) that we were "unreasonable clients" and "easy carrot to chop" (easy target for money) in Taiwanese language, thinking that we did not understand him. Luckily, one of the staff helped us to reason with the driver when we returned to the hotel to collect our luggage for the airport, despite him being overbearing and fierce. She made the driver return us the NT700 change too (The driver did not want to return the change initially) and made sure we got on another cab to the airport safely. Thank you Taipei Morning Hotel for making me feel like a prestigious guest. I would definitely stay at the hotel again when I visit Taipei!

Value for money!

Wasnt expecting such a pleasant stay. The rooms are beautiful and facilities sufficient. For the price i paid,it was worth it. Location wise,it is near 2metro station with one having a decent mall. Overall,it was a decent hotel.

affordable and clean no-frills hotel

A bit difficult to find at first (hotel is on one of the floors of a nondescript building and the lift doesn't look to be in the best condition), but other than that, a great, no-frills hotel! Friendly and helpful front counter staff, modern and clean room (albeit a bit small, but wasn't planning to spend much time in the hotel anyway), not far from an MRT station and okay neighbourhood.

Good & Comfy Stay!

Pros: Near the MRT (Songjiang Nanjing) - it's not that difficult to find. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful to our needs. The hotel has a washer and dryer so you can clean your clothes free of charge. Value for money. The place is near some small eateries. Cons: The rooms were a bit small and doesn't have a wardrobe for your clothes. The hotel doesnt provide a safe deposit box so you have to bring along your valuables with you when you are out.
