We booked a studio apartment and it was amazing. We had a kitchen with appliances that was sufficient for us to do simple cooking. Washer and dryer were also working well. This is important as we were travelling around New Zealand for 15 days and the washer and dryer was one of the amenities that we looked at when booking this apartment. The location of the property is at a peaceful and quiet place with great views as well. We enjoyed the stay in the apartment.

Reception staff was quite impatient when we had some difficulty with our debit card payment. The booking confirmation from Expedia indicated $17 credit for food and beverage but the hotel only gave a voucher for 1 drink (coffee hot choc or soft drink) and 1 food item (cookie or chocolate bar) the combined value of the items is definitely much less than the credit that Expedia indicated. This is a misrepresentation from Expedia.

The view of the Remarkables from our room window was unbeatable. Not located in central Queenstown but a great base for our adventures in the area. Shopping & dining options were at least 5 min drive away. The room came well equipped with a kitchenette/microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. It also had sufficient kitchenware although the pots/pans were too scratched to be used. Limited on-site parking but options available nearby.

The view was terrific from my room and staff at reception were very helpful, friendly and caring. It is a bit far from other services and taxis from airport were reluctant to take fares such a short distance. The buses were regular and drivers were very approachable for advice! Having Murphy’s Market was helpful since I was an international traveller. Better room information on air conditioning and staff availability at certain hours would be good.

Don’t stay in this hotel! Bad service, bad location (next to airport and far away from city center). Bedroom is very small without chair and desk. Bathroom is so small and it is hard to turn around inside. Front desk is very mean and not honest. During check in, I was assigned to a room across the elevator and next to lobby. I requested to have a different room, but front desk woman told me it was fully booked and Expedia/Orbitz assigned this room to me and there was nothing she could do. I said my reservation didn’t have the assigned room number and requested to talk with supervisor. Supervisor said he could assign the same type of room to a different floor for extra $140, because I made the reservation on Expedia. I refused to pay and supervisor didn’t change the room. The room was noisy and I couldn’t sleep. Definitely not worth the money. I will complain to Orbits after getting back to US.

There was so little parking that it should not be included as available. The only option is to pay a 3rd party via a really bad app, when many international tourists don’t have access. It’s too late once yourve booked and committed online

Nice Style On Its Own

Excellent nice new apartment style Hotel. Walking distance to The Remarkables shopping centre and New World Supermarket as well as 5 minute walk to/from bus stop for easy direct connection to Airport (5 minute trip) and Central Queenstown (about 20 minutes trip). Buses very cheap and regular and fairly frequent up to 18 hours a day but if no car you will rely on them to get to all attractions and Queenstown itself. Initially it appears a bit out on its own (quite a lot of empty land development around it) but more optics than reality as not far to walk to local cafes and shops. In that respect it will not be to everyone’s style due to location but overall suited me very well.

Great location near airport, near some restaurants and grocery shops. We got the room called Apartment, Accessible (Studio) Room which was good size with queen/double bed, washer/dryer combo, dish washer, microwave and electric cook top. There was sky tv with 5 sky channels unlocked. The major downside to this hotel is they only have limited free parking available on premises. Once these are occupied then you have to pay for parking for overnight roughly $10. Such a shame when travelling with elderly or baby you have to drop them and then go drive around to pay parking area.

Nice property with good amenities including microwave and toaster. Also had washing machine and dryer in room which was very welcomed. Only downside was the limited on site parking.
