Disliked: Communication
Location cannot be beat! Oceanside, along the bike and walk path, quiet area, walk to local restaurants and morning coffee. BUT...the building is old. The units are old. The furnishing is cheap. Overall, this place is shabby. There is no real front desk. It is manned by security guards. My room number didn't match the email I had received. Guard said go to the basement, there's an office down there. They can figure it out. ?? I didn't even know the name of a company to look for in basement? You get two thin tiny towels and then two thin old pool towels for your stay. Go to that office in basement if you want more I guess? And don't expect service from them on the weekend. I went down saturday morning for beach chairs as per the QR code in the unit. NO ONE THERE ALL WEEKEND. I went to walgreens to get tissues, paper towel and 2 beach towels. Toilet kept running. No one fixed it the whole stay. I had to remove tank lid and jiggle flap everytime we flushed. Woke to a huge roach in the tub, half dead, one morning. Thin walls and door means hearing everyone around you and in hallway at all hours, especially those coming home after midnite. Again, location is perfect and 5 stars. The physical place is not. I would stay at the hilton down the road next tiem.
