Bedbug and beyond

I have to say the staff were nice and their hands were tied. This place is horrible. When I checked in I heard the staff on the phone explaining to someone that the interior is provided by the owner of each unit. Well, our unit must have been furnished by stuff thrown away, pure rubbish. I travel the world and even the worst place in China was better than this. Oh my, Where do I start? Mold in the shower. Toilet leaked and made noise all night. Holes and cracks in the walls. Lamp shades so old the lining crumbles if you touch it. Could feel the coils in the mattress. Ad said queen but it was a full size mattress. Sheets were to small for mattress. I thought I untucked the bottom sheet because I felt the mattress. I pulled away the top sheet and the bottom sheet stopped about a foot from the end of the mattress. To cheap to buy fitting sheets! Something fell behind the dresser, when I moved it OMG disgusting filth. Jack hammering construction until 8 P.M. None of the furniture matched. The two chairs had nasty stains. My sat on one and got bumps like something bit her. I have more pictures than Hotels.com allows.

Reasonable price for what you get

Reasonable price, good location. Lifts are slow-although both were working. Fire alarm went off about 4AM one morning and there was a flood down the escape route stairs and no lift working at all.

Unexpected, booked hotel but not

This is not a hotel but a condominium, used as a hotel. This fact is clearly written all over the lobby and communicated by the security and at check-in. However, not mentioned in Hotel.com. No daily housekeeping but weekly. Only informed at check-in there will be extra charge for daily housekeeping. We stayed 5 nights which means no housekeeping at all! Only positive is the location of this place and the free wi-fi.

This hotel is great! Hotels are not meant to live in so we used it as just a place to sleep while learning the love and culture of Hawaii! Amazing place! Bed is super soft too!

Old nasty and run down. Run away.

Location and pool was good but room was bad. Half the burners on the stove didn't work. Closet door was broken. Bucket in front of room door to catch water dripping from ceiling. Hair everywhere, walls, towels, bedding. Had a McDonald's disposable cup in cupboard for drinking. Everything very old and falling apart. Needs fixing ASAP. Half the light bulbs were blown. Never recommending or staying here again.

Not the greatest, but I would stay there again.

The room was okay, it was outdated, a little dirty, drawers and a cabinet door was broken. The elevator broke down a few times. The view though was beautiful and the beds were comfortable, although the mattress topper kept slipping. Location was wonderful - walking distance to Ala Moana shopping center and a Walmart. 😁

DO NOT STAY HERE. MOLD. MOLD. MOLD. We checked in after 6pm so there was no one at the front lobby to assist us when we realized how NASTY the room was. The toilet was running and was unable to flush. The bathroom shower was super CRUSTY and there was MOLD all over the window curtains. My husband has really bad asthma so we decided to leave right away. We emailed the hotel, since there was no way of calling to let them know we couldn’t stay in a room with MOLD. They replied the next morning saying they could move us to another room, but we had already checked into another hotel. We asked for a refund, and the hotel said we needed to deal with the travel agency. You would think MOLD would be a good reason not to stay in a hotel. Nope! Travelocity DENIED a refund of a 3 night stay after speaking to someone at the hotel. Super disappointed in Travelocity for taking their side. You would think that our health, especially during this pandemic, would be a concern. Shame on you for not taking care of your customers.

There were multiple problems right when I arrived. Check in was inaccurate. Refrigerator wasn't working, had to throw out a lot of food. Room type was wrong. Dishes were dirty in the cupboard. Shower hadn't been clean as there was sand everywhere. Hair on my pillows. Terrible stay!!
