It's a nice, quiet place. The pool is under the trees so constant cleaning is needed which is done often by the clients throughout the day. Avoid rooms 15, 16, & 17 as due to the design of the hallway, the mosquitos have no escape and congregate there in large numbers. The 2nd floor suites are lovely. The area is residental and is very quiet.

Nicely located property nearby two local convenience stores. Apartment was great having air conditioning both in the living room and room. Clean place that was great to stay at. Only wish they provided Netflix access and had a TV inside the bedroom.

Rooms Huatulco is an excellent property to stay, our room was clean, with AC, and all necessary kitchen appliances and utensils for quick cooking if need it. The location is very convenient, the first day we paid taxis most of them charged _$35 pesos about 2 dlls per trip to all areas around like the mercado and some beaches around including Santa Cruz Marina, a very recommended place to stay.

We really like it at Rooms Huatulco. It’s the second year for us. It’s a small property and you get to know everyone by socializing around the pool. We like being able to cook some meals. The house keeping is excellent. One gal does it all. It’s central enough to walk many places or take a quick trip to the beaches in a taxi.

Loved the courtyard area-very nice and quiet. Rooms were really good, too. Quiet area. If you had a car, there was lots of parking just outside and it was safe. But if you’re walking, it’s a good distance to anything and not close to the beaches.

This was a wonderful experience! We loved the property. A quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The cleaning lady was a delight, the owner and host could not have been more helpful. Air conditioning was excellent. We found the location to be ideal, 10 minute walk from a big supermarket, 15-20 minutes to the main beach. 10 minute walk to the. Enter of town. We felt safe and secure during all of our 10 day stay!

I like that the place is very clean. I like that it’s not noisy inside and outside. I didn’t like that the tv didn’t have local channels and also the swimming pool is nice but kind of small.

I like the location despite it being across from the filtration plant. I do wish they would supply water for what they charge and they should have installed a hood fan for cooking. If you like to cook as I do and are staying long term, your room gets smoked out and holds the odor because there is no ventilation. Otherwise I like the neighborhood and this hotel a lot!

Good place to stay for decent price.

Its a pretty far walk to santa cruz and downtown but if your into walking its not so bad. Eventhough some of the reviews mentioned the water treatment plant nearby, i did not smell anything and i hardly noticed it was there. I did not here any sounds coming from other rooms exept for maybe a crying cat outside. The one thing i found that needs improvement is the bed is not comfortable. It was way too firm.
