The condo was budget friendly and in a good location. It was decorated cute, they had a pool, and the staff in the lobby were friendly and helpful. The things I did not like: It was smaller than I anticipated for my family of 4 but we made it work. I was disappointed it did not have an oven or a full size fridge since I cooked most of our meals. They should consider taking out the walk in pantry and putting in one of those items. The forks and spoons in the drawer were still dirty from the last people. You should also consider having something on the patio where you can hang up beach towels/bathing suits to dry for the next day.

Overall I have an indifferent experience for my stay at Victorian. Pros: excellent lighting, they had many bath towels and wash cloths in bathroom. I did enjoy the at home feeling of the room. Cons: Ice was only available at front desk, the carpet in the living area was old and stained, the available mop was smelly. The location is dated; I didn't mind but some fixature really do need to be updated. The key to get into room was a challenge at times to get inside room. Vehicles going into front gate could follow the previous vehicle going into front gate, without entering code, that can be potential dangerous. The few elevators that are available are dirty and need to be clean. Overall, I did enjoy my stay at the location, but some works do need to be done. Also, my son while running around the run got glass in his toe, so I had to buy some tweezers to get glass out, we didn't have any glassware doing our stay.

We actually stayed at the Casa Del Mar and not the Victorian due to pest control issues so these ratings are for Ryson vacation rentals and the Casa Del Mar not The Victorian

The pools were fantastic for our kids. Location was perfect for enjoying the beach. Our unit was not representative of the pictures we saw online. Our unit was rundown and in need of updates. It was listed as housing 6 guests and there wasnt even enough kitchenware for everyone to have a plate and silverware. A few dollars put into the unit would benefit it immensely.

Will not stay again.

Let me 1st add that the condo itself was clean, which I appreciated… - Upon arriving, we were informed the elevator was out of order. Mind you, we were on the 3rd floor & I had my 70 yr. old mother w/ me. She suffers from crippling arthritis - there was no way we could stay. While discussing leaving, a lady approached us with her business card. She said she overheard our conversation & informed us there was an elevator at the other end of the building that was working. It was a bit of a walk, but at least I could get my mother up to the 3rd floor. Why didn’t the front desk tell us about the other elevator?? - Neither bathrooms had a fully functioning toilet - we had to jiggle each button to stop the toilet from running & fill the tank. - The bedroom to the left of the front door has a window visible from the hallway - when the wind from the ceiling fan catches the thin curtain it opens for everyone in the hallway to see into the bedroom. It needs a blind, as well as a thicker curtain. - “Bedroom” w/ the bunkbeds was more like a closet. Bunkbeds were so rickety there was no way I was putting any of my kids on the top or bottom. - The balcony curtain rod came apart every time we opened or closed the balcony door. - bedroom curtains are thin and don’t block out any morning light. - Kitchen has 6 open shelves for dishes, 3 of which are leaning and coming out of the wall. - There’s a pull out couch, but not usable - it slants so bad, you’d think you were sitting on a slide.

We arrived a little past midnight and the security guard was very helpful. We got to our condo and immediately realized that the photos on Expedia were from a remodeled unit. Ours was not updated! A few minutes after arriving, the security guard knocked on our door and asked to see our reservation. Apparently the condo was double booked and the other guest had just arrived. Good thing we weren't a few minutes later in arriving or we might not have had a place to stay! The property is not updated, with holes in the bathroom ceiling and cabinets that are falling apart. The morning we left it was raining and the drain in the parking garage was clogged. We had to load our car in water that was about 8" deep! The location of this property is great, so I don't understand why they wouldn't want to update this property??

The apartment needs immediate remodeling, the bathroom is in terrible condition, the pantry door was not on. The closet was full of junk there is a website where it is supposed to be how are you in contact with the managers it is useless they never communicated with us the shower is full of sand and hair the water did not go away They send you a contract with all the rules that you must follow but they don't comply with it. The only good thing is the outside is really well-kept, and it's not an economical place. It's quite expensive, but the apartment where we stayed was very bad.very disappointing

The specific condo was great; nice decor, comfortable beds, smart storage solutions, and relatively spacious. Everything in our unit was in good repair except the screen door for the patio; it was off the tracks and not usable. Something that is not clear; parking IS NOT included. It is a $35 fee for up to 2 vehicles. The major grievance I had was the elevator to our building; it was incredibly small, a close fit for 3 adults with our weekend amount of luggage, it was slow to respond to buttons, and trapped us briefly. I’m no stranger to questionable elevators (I work for a nonprofit in a terribly old building, I can handle shaking and stalling). Needless to say, we did not chance the elevator a second time. Overall happy with the stay…just be aware of the elevator.

Landscaping was great. New appliances but dated furniture. Lots of small maintenance issues in apartment. Says it sleeps six but crowded with 4 people and their luggage. My son found a child's stuffed animal in his bed making us question the housekeeping. Instructions were easy. Our hide a bed couch wasn't working properly, so we didn't use it. Apartment smelled musty. There wasn't enough receptacles for electronics and the ones that were there were hard to get to. Toilet ran almost continuously and sink in bathroom sounded like air raid siren when in use. Sliding balcony door lock busted along with the locking bar. My wife and I were the only one's strong enough to slide balcony door open, as it seemed to have a broken track. Chair on balcony was busted and not safe to sit on. Again location is great but there are hotels nearby.

Bait and Switch!!! Buyer Beware!!!!

Terrible!!! Two weeks before our stay I was told by Ryson Vacation Rentals they had to move our room but it was an exact equivalent! I paid for a King size bed and was given a full size bed at best (advertised as queen). 6 people crammed in a full two bunk beds and a pull out couch that took up 90% of our living quarters...ridiculous!! They said I would be compensated after hour or more back and forth on phone with multiple people. Then on check out they said there were doing nothing!! Not to mention I had to reach out to them again multiple times before even getting a response. Terrible customer service!!! They even tried to blame the change in room on hotels by telling me to reach out to them. On vacation you shouldn't have to have this added stress.

When booking my check in was 3pm, but when arriving i was told it was at 4pm and that Expedia fault. Was made to wait the extra hour. A metal hook fell off the wall onto my husband's big toe, cutting him and him unable to wear his shoe due to the swelling amd pain. We found a Marijuana joint, and a lighter in the cabinet above the microwave. The fromt desk lady, Vicki was extremely nice but couldnt help with anything since the property is owned and managed by Ryson. They never returned our phone call, and we had to go to their office which is not on site. They finally did a accident report with the maintenance manager, which was extremely nice, but offer nothing else. Would never book with a property owner by Ryson again personally
