Olancha RV Park and Motel is in a unique and beautiful location. The sunrise in the mountains was amazing. The motel is in module houses and is clean with good heating. The restaurant and some motel trailers were under construction at the time. The restaurant (Olancha Cafe) was still working while the renovations were going on and the food was delicious!

El Tipi estaba con muchos lugares con hoyos por donde se metia el viento helado, la puerta no cerraba porque no estaba ajustado el velcro bien y por las comisuras de la unión del tipi con el piso tambien se filtraba. El servicio muy amable, ajustando el tipi seria gran lugar

Good, but can get cold in the winter

Stayed a night in a four person tipi. The receptionist was great, and guided us well through the property. Reduced a star because we were told that there would be a space heater in the tipi, but had to call and go get it from the reception when we didn’t find it inside. The water was very cold in the bathroom.

Un posto molto particolare, accogliente e comodo per visitare la death valley. Bene organizzati, silenzioso, con un cielo stellato pazzesco. Personale preparato e simpatico, abbiamo avuto un problema col nostro cottage, e hanno trovato subito una soluzione. AMbienti puliti, molto carini e comodi. Soddisfatta!

Important! do not follow google maps directions to this property. It had me follow a dirt road at night and almost got stuck in a sandy riverbed in the middle of nowhere. the property it actually on the main road. Call it you cannot find it but do not follow any unpaved roads. Once I got there it was an interesting and worthwhile experience. You will see lots of stars. Heather is great and super helpful.

This was a trip to Death Valley NP post thanksgiving Day 2024 My BEAUTIFUL girl (PattytOH) and I decided to venture into.I am about pleasing my girl and I must say my Girl was PLEASED with this booking. Easy check-in/check-out and parking right in front of your room (can't beat that anywhere you go).LOVE that they give you an actual key for your room.LOL :)

Old but relatively clean. Was an old mobile home that was made into 2 separate rooms for 2 sets of guests. No shower curtain for the tub. Worked for us because we were dog tired and couldn’t drive any more that night. If I hadn’t booked online we would have tried to go farther.

Nice place, spacey room, good spot for begin your Death Valley trip. Plus for very nice people, but unfortunately 1 minus for late check-in. We arrived around midnight, according the e-mail message the key and instructions should be in the envelope nearly the caffe door. Instead it wasn't, we were little confused, phones not answer, luckily Heather - crazy and so positive women, pick up the entry phone which we call too, she came to us despite it was 0:30am, check us in, show the room, and everything ends well - once again thank you Heather 😉. Unfortunately due to that situation, the rate is a bit lower than it could be. Anyway, it's pretty good place.
