What a View!

What a view! This hotel is not new and not perfect in terms of decor, but the price was great and the proximity to the water and the views were amazing. The cafe has really good food as well.

5-star experience in a 3.5-star property

Shelter Cove is an absolute GEM, WAY off the beaten path. The hotel is in a prime location with beautiful views and direct access to black sands beaches, tide pools and even a lighthouse! The hotel is still being renovated, so it's not perfect. But the staff is helpful and the location is wonderful.

The hotel is in a great location , the heater in room did not work, could not raise blinds to open windows, when got window open no screens.

This inn is beautiful and the oceanfront room was amazing. There aren’t many amenities and the internet was slow but the sights made up for it and after you go through that treacherous drive to get there it is nice to have a quiet place to rest. The bed was somewhat comfortable. The water pressure wasn’t great. There was one restaurant open the afternoon we arrived so there want much of a choice. The cafe attached to the inn had pretty good breakfast. I would stay there again.

Great views of the beach. Really comfortable beds. Great shower. Parking was easy. Great little place for breakfast in the morning. The seals on the rock beach were a bonus!

Absolutely beautiful area, and the oceanfront in is a fantastic place to stay. It was clean and comfy, plus the first flore is a cafe restaurant with incredible food ! I will absolutely be back!

Great seaside hotel

We used this hotel for the starting and stoping point of our 26-mile hike on the Lost Coast. It was a wonderfully charming spot with amazing views. The rooms were lean and well supplied, and the process was managed very well. We also had breakfast at the cafe after our hike, and we loved the food, coffee, and the service. Highly recommend.

Horrible view

We booked a panoramic oceanview room and got a room that had a view of a dead tree and bushes and a patio with chairs and BBQ. We also choose to pay at hotel and they charged our card the day before arrival.
