This property was an interesting stay, to say the least. The room itself was decent, but it appears this hotel prioritizes aesthetic over amenities. For starters, there are no on-ground employees (at least from what I saw). Communication with staff and support is arranged via the Sonder app. The team was very responsive and enthusiastic about addressing my concerns; however, the lack of employee presence in the building is quite intimidating. Very much a self-service establishment (i.e., you acquire your own sheets, soap, etc. from communal supply closet). There was not even water in our room or in the provided Keurigs, nor are there any vending machines or food options in the building, so I would definitely make sure to bring any beverages or snacks you may want during your stay. Despite these caveats, this was an aesthetically pleasing stay. Room is very spacious and prime location. As a previous Philly native, I would say that this hotel is situated at somewhat of a middle point of all the local hotspots. Great option if you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head for the weekend without breaking the bank. 7/10.

Good overall. Hot water issue

Overall quite good place. Have stayed here often. Only downside this time was there there was no cold water in shower one day (which is a real problem in January!).

Hôtel bien situé, proche du Centre ville et du Centre Historique de Philadelphie, bien desservi par le métro et par les bus. La chambre était spacieuse et propre, avec un frigo et une cafetière. Bien prendre en considération que l’hôtel ne dispose pas de réception et que toutes les démarches se passent via l’application Sonder. Pas de service de ménage pour un séjour de moins d’une semaine. Dans l’ensemble, je recommande cet établissement pour l’autonomie qu’il nous procure, et pour son côté pratique, calme et proche de tout.

The property self service is in the middle of everything , my room face south and was quiet but would be different if you face the street since is the entertainment district. Was a big confuse about who service the room until the last day I find out you do it yourself. In the lunge area, are clean towels and bedding for you to change them . Over all is a good place to stay for the money you pay. 4.9* rate not five because the main entrence door was open at times and I don’t have to use my code. Safety issues there . Very clean , the bathroom shower should be a bit bigger im a 6’4 275 lbs. I will stay there next time I come over . Get your code before hand and download the app very handy if you need to ask a question. Very happy with this place.

Bed bugs

There were bed bugs on my bed, and customer service phone line took forever to mediate the situation since there is no front desk. Said they needed to inspect the room before they can accommodate us and had issues with the general customer service email seeing my videos and photos on email when they clearly sent since the local customer service team received them. Ended up upgrading us to the Witherspoon instead which was very nice and way cleaner, only 5 min walk away. Please just book at the Witherspoon instead of here.

Good location, central to a public transpo, dinong and entertainment. Not luxurious but clean amd comfortable. Good for short stays. Checl in process is a breeze. Unit uad heating issues that were resolved but also flooring had multiple spots with dents.

I was very impressed with the property and my room. It’s in a great happening part of Philadelphia close to everything signing in to get my door code when arriving was a bit of a nightmare. It wouldn’t let me create a password. Other than that, I was definitely very impressed And I rang the number on the door and they did help me out with the code.

Everything was great, the area was great, it was EXTREMELY loud outside but we stayed over a weekend. On Sunday it was great, and I think a weeknight stay would be perfect here.

The internet in my room did not connect properly to my laptop. I had to have zoom meetings in the lobby by connecting to the free restaurant internet downstairs. Even though I have never had an issue connecting before with my computer, the staff insisted there wasn't a problem with their system and would not relocate me to a different room. The property is run down - coffee table falling apart, shower head loose, coffee machine not working properly, worn areas in the bathroom. I would never stay in a Sonder property again.

Great Spot on Locust Street

The stay was great, hotel room was in good condition and entering / exiting the building was accessible. Hotel is in a good location for local eats and transportation.
