Solid place

Huge space. Clean, central. Friendly staff. Functioning kitchen. Electronics are old but didn’t really use them. There is overall engine or heating sound that is persistent in the background but didn’t bother me too much. Overall I would have my colleagues stay there too. Now the lift was broken for a week,I had to carry my 3 week luggage up to 3rd floor and down. can’t say I liked it.

Kings Wardrobe is a great find! These are large apartments - amazingly large for London, and very close to St. Pauls which has eating and shopping options. We walked into the centre for theatres and other activities with no issue. It is also amazingly quiet at night! I love the place and will certainly stay again. The properties are being refurbished and it can only be hoped that 'reception' is one of those areas still to be done. That first impression is a little dark, dingy, cheap, and makes you wonder if shady deals are being done! However, the staff are very helpful, and once in the apartment itself, all fears are allayed - they are great places to stay. Breakfast is a waste of time - but there are great options close to the apartments - so go out and explore!

disappointed

apartment is spacious and clean..bed is comfortable with spacious clean bathroom...only 3 issues 1. noise from the church bell that keeps tolling every hour thru the night..bothered our sleep 2. dryer was not working and we had planned to wash our clothes from a week before 3. when we checked in the room phone was not enabled so we wasted time trying to call to local numbers from the room . finally on our way out we told the reception staff and he was pretty callous in his attitude and did NOT apologise for not enabling the phone. when requested, he stated that the hotel policy wont allow us to make a local call from the reception phone so we had to go back again to the room just to make that local call given these 3 issues, i think its overpriced and will not return again

Lovely and spacious apartment in the business district of England. Reasonably priced for the space. The reception - which is in a cute English cafe/restaurant/bat - was incredibly easy to find and friendly, but you need to go to the restaurant to check in which created some confusion. Only potential issue is the proximity to St Paul’s means you hear the bells clearly. Every time they mark the hour. For some this is a plus for culture. Noise sensitive people will need a room facing away from the cathedral.

The room size was excellent. I didn’t use the kitchen but it would’ve been great if I wanted to cook. I did use the laundry and it worked well. Location was very convenient for me and public transport was quite close. The negatives were; it was very loud at night from street noise (people talking), the stairs to get to the room were very narrow which would’ve been difficult with a large or heavy bag, and the shower didn’t drain.

This is our second stay at this property. The apartments are large and offer a true home away from home. We especially love the washer/dryer - allows for us to pack less when we can do laundry! When you step out of the property, you are close to several tube stops and the River Thames - so a great location! We did encounter an issue with the toilet not functioning but the issue was addressed promptly. The one caution for those booking this property is to remember it is by St Paul's Cathedral that does have a bell that tolls on the hour, every hour. With windows closed, it isn't too loud, but if windows are open, the bells can be quite loud at night. This is not enough to detour us from staying as it really is a wonderful property and will for sure stay here again!

Expedia has been great resource for securing accommodation for many trips we've taken. Unfortunately this experience at Native Kings Wardrobe was extremely disappointing. When planning our trip to London we knew we would require car parking facilities and filtered the accommodation search accordingly. Native Kings Wardrobe came up as an option that supposedly had parking at a reasonable daily rate, so we selected that option. Prior to the visit we tried to call the property regarding the location of the parking but could never get through. We also messaged via the app a couple of times, but never received a response. On arrival at the property neither of the staff on the check-in knew where the parking was located. A staff member in the cafe was called who walked us down the street to the parking location and opened the gates so we could enter to park. There were only a small number of parking spots, but we found a vacant one and we then checked in and paid for our stay up front, the staff being fully aware that we were staying for 2 nights and were parked in the car park for the duration. About 10 days after leaving the property we were issued with a parking fine with the reason cited as "no valid parking session". If you are thinking of staying at this property, please be aware that communication with the property is extremely poor and that the parking situation is nothing short of a scam.

Lovely, spacious apartments in a really convenient, central location. Apartments were clean, bright, well furnished and had working air conditioning, making temperature control easy. Only slight criticism would be that it’s quite difficult to navigate around the apartment blocks and no clear signs as to how to exit or get to reception. Additionally, we went down for breakfast in the cafe and were told that they weren’t serving anymore due to running out of stock.
