The positive points are, the breakfast setup, the cleaness of the room, and the courtesy of the staff at the reception. However, the parking area (holes) and the condition of the road by the entrance is deplorable ( holes and retained water).

Really nicely situated ON the beach. Easy beach access. Dinner at Pelican Grill was very tasty, but servers should understand that not all visitors are Guadeloupeen and would understand the menu. Property does require major repairs and maintenance (septic system caused bad smell in bathroom and rooms, with yellow tap water)

Although not in the Hotels control, we only had running water for 1-2 hours a day. I don’t recommend traveling to Guadalupe until this problem is resolved.

Overall average experience. Gave me a room at the fifth floor with a nice side sea view. Room itself was quite basic and bit outdated, just like the complete hotel complex. Small pool, nice bar called "Pelikan" on site. Breakfast was sufficient and featured fresh fruits, custommade omelette and some tasty espresso shots. Staff was friendly. If the price was lower OR the hotel in a better condition, this would be a valuable option. BTW: Yes, there are a few cockroaches on site (but not in the room), as well as geckos, chicken roosters and birds, picking some breakfast - but if you mind such things, do not go to exotic places. It's simply part of the deal.

Il faut présenter pour chaque service sa CB avant de consommer car la Direction se méfie du client . Ce n'est pas commode pour déjeuner ou diner et très insultant pour le client. Je préfère aller ailleurs la prochaine fois ...

Reception/check-in was pleasant and professional. Zenitude Hotel is divided in two main sections: Clipper and Residence Salako. I was in Clipper. This section requires a lot of renovation and clean-up. The bathroom was unbelievably dirty. There was mouldy grime between the tiles in the shower cubicle and the bathroom floor.I had to buy AJAX and a scrubbing brush to clean it off. The room was not so bad. The cleaning staff was very pleasant and efficient - they made do with whatever they had or what was given to them. A hot water kettle for coffee and a microwave oven would have been nice. The corridors and exterior of the whole place needs a good renovation - they were doing mostly patch-up covers on our floor. The grounds are very nicely maintained. The semi-private beach was very accommodating. The breakfast was very good with a large choice. Supper, when we decided to have and pay (EUR35 pp), was okay. Le Pelican, the resto-bar is a pleasant addition to the hotel. For the size of the hotel, parking was very limited. All in all it was a pleasant stay but a tad too expensive for services received.

La batissee clipper est sur le point de s'effondrer. Pas de maintenance l'eau coule dans la chambre dans les corridors la toilette est remplie de moissidure la porte de la douche ne tient pas etc.. . Meme nourriture tous les matins .pas de gentillesse pas de service cest nulle ZERO

Aurait besoin d’une bonne rénovation

2 x une nuit. Une au Salako et une au Clipper. Personnel plutôt sympa, les chambres dans un état moyen. Nos serviettes de toilette sentait mauvais. L’hôtel est vieux et montre des signes de vestusté, carrelage fendu, peinture écaillée. Le petit déjeuner est sans faute, beaucoup de choix et plutôt bon. Piscine sympa.
