Great location, short 5mins walk from Kings Cross station and with plenty of food options around. Receptionist was friendly and kind. I stayed in one of the older rooms (big, with its own kitchenette but not renovated yet) and developed rashes though.

A decent stay except for insects on the sofa bed

My daughters slept on the sofa bed. They said that they saw spider insects on two nights crawling on the sofa bed. They also suffered rashes and insect bites on their arms on some nights . The room and hallway needs more lighting as it feels rather gloomy. The location is quaint and accessible to tourist locations and shopping.

Excellent location for short stay only.

I stayed at regents court for 4 nights and thank god that i was out for most of the day and night too. The room does not include any clothes washer or dryer. The price is expensive for the comfort you get. The only good thing is the location. On the day i was to fly back, i asked the receptionist to arrange an airport shuttle which never arrived. Not a very good experience per say. Will recommend only if u r on a very short trip and need good location.

Service Apartment but without service

The location of the apartment is great, near a supermarket & King across Station. It is also about 10-15 mins walk to the car rental street which is convenient for us to pick up our rental vehicle. Staff was really friendly and pleasant. The lift is unique and special but slow and manual. However, our main concern was the cleanliness of the property. Numerous cockroaches and lizards were spotted and the house keeping was quite minimal. The extra towel was only provided after asking for 5 times and on our last night. The sofa bed is not comfortable as well. Cleanliness of the rooms definitely needs some improvement.

Cheapest hotel near to city

Good , if linens will be changed every 2-3 days will be th best . During my stay for a week , only come once for room cleaning but never change bedsheets and blanket at all . But I got the necessary toiletries from the friendly hotel Receptionists , they are very kind and helpful especially staff Melinda. Hotel was build many many years ago since 1926, but all are nicely renovated and very convenient during my stay . Only one thing needs to highlight is to change and wash linens or please give extra to change for ourselves if Housekeeping can't do daily for every room

Great location and comfortable room

The hotel is located near the CBD and has many amenities nearby (e.g. supermarket). The room was spacious and generally comfortable. The fully-equipped kitchen is great and useful for people who like to make their own meals. The room is generally clean, considering the fact that the housekeeper does not come in daily. You may not like this place if you prefer 24/7 hotel staff and daily housekeeping, since their reception only functions during the daytime. Even with the manpower limitations, the hotel is still wonderful as a whole, giving value for your money.

The stay is worth the money paid.

The apartment is located in a historical building in a quite street, with a nice supermarket in the neighborhood. The dinner table in the kitchenette is simple but homely. The furniture is old;the sofa bed is too soft and unsteady.

Review on Regents Court

The room was pretty spacious but all the furniture were old and pooly maintained. The lighting in the room was dim. Not recommended for family with children as the apartment was near the red light district. On a saturday night, I saw a guy urinating just next to the hotel and there were several groups of guys drinking beer near the apartment from a big bag and they were drunk. We were so scared when we walked past them because they were very drunk and rowdy.

The people in reception were delightful in every way. They were helpful with any information we required. Our room was neat, tidy and clean. It had every thing we needed. The roof top garden was a hidden gem.

Lovely place with a little hiccup

Amazing place! We’d 100% stay here again. The only improvement I’d suggest is changing the shower curtain, it was too short so water went all over the place on the floor of the washroom. Also, the window in the washroom wasn’t able to close.

Large room and good kitchen. In The Cross with buzzing atmosphere. Close to transport. A wonderful old elevator. Parking available $30 per day no limit on in and out. Friendly staff. Yes it's old and has had a refit at some time, but it has character and a bargain at the price. Now my favourite hotel in Sydney.
