Just a note: property is undergoing renovation and a makeover. I was given the older room, hence the lower scores. Pool water was quite dirty with bits of white stuff floating. However i commend the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Tried checking in early at 1PM as we arrived in KL early. The staff was helpful and accomodate to our request. Booked the two bedroom, it was clean and large. The hotel was a roughly 10mins walking distance to KLCC and 5mins walk to Ampang LRT Station.

Everything else was decent apart from the bathroom which was leaking and left a puddle constantly around it. The staff tried to rectify the situation but to no avail. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. A little far from the city center though.

Maintenance need to catch up service staff

The hotel staff were excellent. From the checkin staff to the staff at the restaurant were really very hard working. We arrived at the hotel after10pm and yet the checkin staff was wonderful and did everything needed including the breakfast coupons without asking. The next morning we went for breakfast. The staff there were again were spot on, cleaning the table so fast and also helping if we needed any assistance. However the rooms were not up to standard. The rooms were clean and very spacious but the bathroom fitting were a total disaster. We were in room 3103. When you try to turn on the shower water came came out from all 3 outlets, the hand held shower, the over head shower and the tub pipe. Further the wall fitting hold the hand held shower was shaking as though it was to fall off any time.

We have no regrets for our 2nd here. Still had a pleasant stay and breakfast was marvelous. Staffs very friendly. Location walking distance to nearest LRT and it also located at strategic area. This place is suitable for family with children as it has kitchen n living room attached.

This hotel is next to KLCC , a walking distance. A solo traveller, the hotel facilities basically met my expectation, staffs are friendly and it was accessible for me to move about, since this is located in the central of other eateries.

Poor.....

Very disappointed with the stay. 1st thing which caught our eyes when we entered our room, dirty carpet at the hall. Next was the dirty carpets in both the rooms. Except for the carpets, the rest were good. Room service food is terrible!!!! If they cannot even cook local dishes satisfactorily, I wonder how other dishes will taste. Room service is extremely slow. We were in a 2 bedroom suite but toiletries for 2.5 persons only!! After a request for toiletries was made, it took them slightly over an hour to deliver to the room. At most, 3 star hotel.

Holiday stay at PNB

I have stayed quite a number of times at PNB Darby and I must say the breakfast have improved. The croissants and bread were freshly baked and the selection menu is much much better. The teh tarik was superb! I enjoyed my stay and definitely gained a few kilos at the end of my trip.
