I recently stayed at Sonder Deco, and overall, it was a positive experience. The prime location is definitely the highlight of this hotel—it’s in a great area, and everything is within walking distance, which makes exploring the area so much easier. We stayed in the king-size bed room, and while I had booked our room before reading a few reviews, it turned out to be a comfortable stay. One thing to note, is that the window in our room wasn't sealed properly, which was a bit of a game-changer on a positive side! We dont like to sleep under AC. Additionally, the bathroom lacks ventilation or windows that can be opened. This was a bit of a downside. After taking a shower, the room and the bathroom could really use some air circulation.
The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful, and they all speak English, which made communication easy. The hotel’s restaurant is also a nice touch, offering a great breakfast and brunch. While I didn’t use the pool due to its small size, I appreciated the option. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking to swim laps or relax in a larger pool.
Another point worth mentioning is that the hotel doesn't provide chairs on the beach, so when you pick up beach towels from the front desk, you're on your own for seating. You can either sit on the sand or pay $25 per person for a chair.
Overall, I’d say this is a great hotel with a prime location. The lack of ventilation in the bathroom were the only real downsides. Thank you.
