Morgan Suites Review

The hotel was located right between the start of South Bank and West End, making it convenient to get around but yet out of the buzz. We had a 1 bedroom apartment and it was really spacious. The only down side was that we did not get our room service i.e. towels and trash cleared everyday although it was supposed to be. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again if we travel to Brisbane again and to recommend to our family and friends.

Good & lovely serviced apartment

It's a lovely 2 bedroom apartment. Very spacious for a family of 4 with 2 bathrooms. Would definitely stay with Morgan the next time my family visits Brisbane again. Pricing of apartment is affordable. Thank you Morgan Suites!

Not the best for a Business Traveller

I found this accommodation is not good for business travel. There were very limited power points (one on the kitchen counter) and no desk, I had to purchase a power strip and extension cord to work on my laptop at the kitchen table. The bathroom shower floor was a bit slimy and slippery - when I first entered the unit, there was a mouldy smell because the shower door was shut. I was not impressed with the unit.

Very run down and dirty.

I’ll start with the good. The receptionist was very nice and said she had upgraded us to a city view room which was a nice thing to do. The place was easy to find and good to have parking available although $15 per night. Good location. Fairly small for a 2 bedroom. The apartment was unfortunately very filthy. When you’re paying such a high price you expect the place to be clean. I’ve stayed in many apartments in Southbank but this has definitely been the worst. The carpets were filthy we ended up having to wear shoes the whole time and put a mat by the bed to have clean feet to get in to bed with. Not great for a crawling baby that you couldn’t let touch the dirty floor. The washing machine was full of mold and smelt rotten. The showers were also full of mold. The dishes were filthy. There were a pair of underwear left in the bedroom. The shower door gets stuck closed and you nearly have to break it to get out. Top it off they expect you to clean your dishes and empty all the rubbish or you will get fined $100.

A great place to stay. We had a 1-bedroom apartment which was very spacious, a nice little Balcony and very clean. the location is great. a 10-minute walk to West End or Southbank. We would definitely stay here again!

This property was like staying at hotel hell. From the rudeness of the after hours staff who quite literally told me to sleep on the street if I couldn't pay a $200 surcharge to get my key, to a room with absolutely zero phone service and then an hour wait til I could receive a list of wifi passwords that I had to go thru one by one until I found one that worked. To the complete disregard of the checkout staff that would not allow me an extra 20 minutes to have a shower and then claimed to have returned my deposit yet here I am 4 hours later with no sign of them refunding my deposit. This accommodation facility were by far the rudest I've experienced with no guest care whatsoever.
