Our stay at hillview cottages in The Cottage was so relaxing refreshing serene quiet just a beautiful spot to unwind and destress from everyday life. We didn’t want to leave but we will definitely return to stay longer next time.

My second visit to this lovely place. Very comfortable and the vista is awesome. Grounds are spacious, well kept and very pretty with a great variety of trees and flowers. Lots of birdlife and full of peaceful places to meander. A perfect breakaway from hectic city life.

We were looking for a quiet well appointed accomodation in the country with a great rural outlook. We found this beauty. Beautiful parkland setting overlooking an amazing country view. Quiet with beautiful bird life talking to us. We loved it.

Beautiful property BUT didn't like that fact that I was led to believe the accommodation was close to Murgon , the Accommodation should be list as Kingaroy . I ended up being quite a drive away from my destination for my best friend funeral in Cherberg .

Ok sted for en enkelt nat

Vi ankom først kl 20 og blev taget rigtig godt imod. Dog havde vi aftalt tidspunkt for ankomst da indtjekning slutter allerede kl 17.30 Huset vi fik var lækker, dog havde det en indelukket lugt. Sengene var meget bløde.

We loved the daycore and beautiful surroundings, the views were amazing, bed was extremely comfortable and soft and the breakfast was beautiful with plenty of options which we never ate everything, we stayed in the church and will definitely be back for another stay, definitely good value for money and we also loved the spa bath, very relaxing

Tranquil with Amazing Views

Very lovely stay … the ‘dairy’ cottage was well equipped, clean with a lovely continental breakfast. Amazing views from everywhere: the lounge and dining room, outdoor area , bedrooms, and spa bath! So quiet and relaxing. I’ll be back!

Winter warmer

Winter trip for peace and quiet. Electric blankets and the fire were most welcome, as was the free sample of local Port! We did not really want to even venture out as we were so cosy in the cottage.

The converted locally historic church was immaculate and creatively decorated with provincial touches and thoughtful gifts such as port for a nightcap, hand milled soap and bath salts, delightful patio with well manicured gardens looking out over farmland and cattle to the hillsides. The only sounds were birds, breeze and cows. The continental breakfast had all we could desire - fabulous enormous home grown eggs and gluten free meusli. We purchased wines from nearby wineries, bought cheese and crackers from Aldi, and a pizza from Aussie Pizzas to enjoy on the patio under the amazing starry sky.
