As a young family with two toddlers and an infant, we found the accommodation to be very suitable, offering ample space. The room provided more storage than we've experienced in any other hotel—plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space, enough to accommodate long-term stays comfortably. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped, and the inclusion of a washer/dryer combo was convenient (though, as expected with condenser dryers, the drying process was quite slow and limited). We loved staying in the Insadong area, which was both vibrant and convenient for getting around and visiting local attractions. The only real downside—and quite a significant one—was the cleanliness, which fell below our expectations. The bedsheets were not changed automatically during our five-night stay, and the sheets and pillows had a yellowish tint. Additionally, the bathrobes were stained, and there was a noticeable amount of dust and other cleanliness issues that exceeded what we consider average.

The 2 bedroom suite was much larger than in pictures and the extra space was such a welcome! Orakai Insadong is situated in a very convenient location - beside Ikseondong (where you can pop in for a coffee) and Insadong; and if you walk a little further, can reach Bukchon & Onion Cafe. Have already recommended this place to family & friends for their next trip to Seoul!

The property is convenient and clean. However, the room is rather warm and the furniture are rather old. But the staff were very helpful. They provided two fans after I feedback to them about the warmness in the room. Overall, I am happy with the stay.

Must provide for English version of the washing machine instructions as difficult to operate when only in Korean language. Need to engage with foreign tourists to make them feel welcomed. Also better to provide a dryer as well and it will be picture perfect.

Good breakfast

At the time of check-in, you can choose to have buffet breakfast for 6,600 won. If not, it’ll cost 16,500 won on the day. My family took the option and it was great! Good selection and beats trying to find a place to eat. They change some of the menu items daily so we didnt get tired of the it even though we had it for 3 days.

Convenient, newly furnished room, great for family

The apartment was near to subway stations, about 5-10 mins walk. There were many eateries around and seven eleven was just opposite. We got a three bedroom suite. It was spacious, well furnished and looks new. Toiletries are very basic only. No toothbrush and toothpaste. The bed was a comfortable pillows too soft. Breakfast spread was simple. Mainly bread, cereals, egg etc. The overall experience above expectations. I look forward to stay here again.

Perfect for all kinds of stay. Excellent room with all the amenities except Wifi ...you have to pay. This is the only drawback. And a small distance of walk to the stations which make the location less than perfect. Otherwise it is a perfect 10.

Spacious place, free upgrade.

We booked a one bed room suite, got a free upgrade by the hotel to a three bed rooms suite. Place was very spacious, great condition. Only downside: No free wifi. Other than that the place was perfect. I would definitely choose this place again if i visit Korea.

Good and comfortable stay

It was a good and comfortable stay, except we had to pay for wifi use per day. It was quite strange to charge it seperately...they said it was because it’s residential hotel. Otherwise, very comfortable and the location was alright but it was located in quite a hidden spot. A bit far from the airport bus station.

Spacious suites

Stayed at Orakai Insadong Suites for 10 days. Check in and out was prompt. The 2 bedroom suites was well maintained and clean. House keeping lady was friendly and kept our suites clean. Made a request for additional pillows as it was too soft and they were promptly delivered. Airport coach transfer from Incheon is approximately a 10 mins walk from drop off at Angguk Station. Subway on Line 1 and 3 is within a short walking distance and Suites is close to numerous food and retail outlet. Alive Museum, Bukchon Hanok Village, Nami Island Transfer Pick up point are all within walking distance. Myeongdong is just a 15 to 20 mins walk away. Love the location and the walk at Insadong. Do hope that the management will consider giving free internet connection to its guest and in time for our next trip to Korea during summer. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nicely located, too bad there's construction site.

Orakai Insadong Suites (used to be Fraser Service Apartment) is probably one of the few that has 2 & 3-room units that is conveniently located in Seoul and is just a short walk away to the train station. Nearby are eateries, mini-marts, shopping district and few food alleys where one is spoilt for choice. The front-desk staff were friendly. The 3-bedroom unit I booked was spacious and clean, but there was nothing more to rave about. The toiletries were replenished only when running low or upon request, there was no free wifi or complimentary tea/coffee/sugar or bottled water. Worst of all, my unit was facing a construction site and we were woke up by 7am everyday during our stay. As much as I like this Insadong district, it's unlikely that I'll return to this apartment soon mainly due to the noisy work site.

Hidden hotel in insadong

Need to highlight some of the issues I had experienced. Almost all taxi drivers were unable to locate the hotel even with the given addresss in Korean. We were dropped off somewhere near the hotel in Insadong. The hotel changed its name from Fraser Suitres to Orakai Suites on 24 December 2016 during our stay without informing the guests. We found out when they replaced the name outside the hotel I was not happy that the front desk staff did not tear off my signed blank credit card slip after checking out, which normally other hotels will do. Overall, it still quite a good hotel for families who wanted to stay together and enjoy a condominium facilities as we can cook, and washed our clothing. It is also a convenient location once you were familiar with its surroundings.
