Very nice location, view a bit obstructed, next time I would request a room above 16 to get better views. Lounge not that comfortable and the lounged bed locked so couldn't lay down to watch TV. No TV in bedroom. We were on level 11

Good view of ocean... a budget stay

Views of ocean even in mid floor. We can watch the sun rise in our apartment. We were short walked to the beach, beach market & Cavil Ave. The front desk staff is very friendly & helpful. Apartment looks old but is clean & tidy. (Furnishings need update) Will be back. Nice apartment & close to beach.

We love it! Definitely a wise choice to stay here

We were jumping with joy when we first opened our apartment door and stepped into the room as we were welcomed by the magnificent view of the ocean and the sounds of the waves. We were so excited and happy that we have chosen the right accommodation! The apartment was very well equipped with kitchen tools that enabled me to cook, bake and microwave. :) There was also a dish washer, a washing machine and a spin dryer. The washing detergents etc were provided one time only and housekeeping would only be provided for stay over 8 days. The exterior of the building looks old and the fixtures were a bit aged but that didn't bother us at all because we had a good view of the ocean from all the balconies, includung our bedroom. We felt very comfortable and thankful for a goid view of the few sunrises during our stay which were very memorable. Kim, Lizzie and Mirjana were very friendly and helpful, they helped us to book our day tours with Scenic Hinterland, admission tickets to theme parks and Skypoint upon our request. We were very happy with their service. The resort is also equipped with 2 swimming pools, gym etc which we visited but didn't have time to use. The location is superb, just behind Q1 and veey near to the tram station. Walked a short distance across the road will get to the beach and perhaps a 5 minutes walk to the happening surfers paradise street. If we ever visit gold coast again, we will surely stay at Breakfree Long Beach again.

Back "home" again.

We have stayed so many times in this apartment block we have lost count. It has become just like a second home, and brings back fond memories of when our children were younger. The location is great being just across a road to the beach, and a few minutes walk to Surfers Paradise; also a short distance from a nice Surf Club where you can have nice meals practically on the beach. The apartments (2 roomers) are spacious, clean, and have wonderful views of the sea and all around. Although shorter than previous stays, we still had a very relaxing time.

Rooms are lacking in amenities....No extra pillows, towels, blankets. Ironing board but no iron....Air conditioner kept making noise....The room keys stopped working after 3 days of stay and had to call management down late at night to fix our keys....prefer to stay somewhere else next time

Die Unterkunft wurde uns beim CheckIn als frisch renoviert angepriesen. Jedoch traf dies nicht zu. Alles war schon in die Jahre gekommen und verlebt. Weiterhin war die Wohnung auch alles andere als sauber. Die Couch hatte Flecken. Im Teppich und Bad waren Haare von den Vorgängern. Die Lage war super.

My apartment was clean and recently renovated. Had everything I needed in it. Great view. Manager friendly and helpful. Close to beach and short walk to tram and Cavill Avenue. Currently a nearby building under construction, no big deal as no work done there at night or on a weekend. During the week, work noise starts early so good excuse to wake and walk at beach!

Great location, easy walk into city center with young kids, 10 minute walk. Beach across the road, had amazing views all around, 4 different balconies that see the ocean, city and mountains, spoilt for choice. The apartment was nice, but needs a little tlc in the cleaning department, get this right and would be perfect. Facilities where fantastic indoor and outdoor pools kids had a ball. Kevin was fantastic waited for us to arrive late at night to greet us and show us our room. Looking forward to staying again.

Loved our stay at Long Beach. Loved it so much stayed there twice! The views are to die for, day or night, can't decide which is best!! We went for the Elvis show at Hota which was only a short distance away- less than $20 in a taxi. Cavill Ave is just a short walk too. Kevin, the resident manager is a top notch bloke with always a ready smile and there to help when he can. Highly recommend.
