4 days holiday

We have visited 4N5D for our friends wedding party. We satisfied room and pool, and other facilities. But foods are not so good. This is the only point we could not enjoy at this place. However, if you have vehicles to drive to beach road side restaurant, they are good to enjoy Thai foods.

It was a precious experience in the hotel. There are a lot of delicious food with reasonable prices. In additition, the kid's room, which the staffs are kind and friendly, helps my kids to enjoy it. However, I felt other staffs are not profferional. Other than that, I would like to recommend this hotel in overall.

Nice resort with a childcare

The resort is pretty secluded. 1hr30+mins drive from Krabi Airport. Staffs are friendly and attend to your needs. Some missing amenities in the room which are quickly addressed by the staff. Kids club at the resort is great, with activities and toys for toddlers to explore and with ample space for kids to run about. The view at my room is exactly the same as the hotel photo gallery very surreal. Just 2 minor issues which can be improved. 1. Room Service timing is only until 10pm, which is kind of restricted 2. Return airport transfer MPV aircon is spoiled, we are sweating all the way to the airport

Amazing!

The resort is located in a beautiful part of Krabi and it takes about 1.5 hours to reach. Despite the dated look of the resort, it can be easily overlooked by the wonderful service given by the staff of the resort. The services of the drivers, receptionists, promoter (Chloe), the managers & staff at the restaurants and everywhere around the resort including the staff at Koh Kradan beach, were impeccable! We were impressed! Thank you for treating us so well and always find the time to chat with us and suggesting fun activities. We wish you all the best!

Anantara Si Kao Resort Krabi

Beautiful location, serene n peaceful place. Too far from anywhere. Hour and half from airport instead of an hour stated on website. Its great to be in the middle of nowhere, we like that and kids friendly too, even though kids facilities was not that great. But to be in the middle of nowhere, we need decent service and edible food (Italian restaurant was great, thai food didnt taste authentic, breakfast was average, all drinks was just made with too much ice!), which we didnt get. So we werent satisfied at all. Didnt feel any service provided at all to make our stay enjoyable, pampered, pleasant, other than basic service ie. staff behind bars and waiters to place our orders. We'd be at the beach with noboy offering water/refreshments, had to walk all the way back to restaurants to get our own needs. Didnt feel place was kept clean properly, dust balls everywhere, unemptied bins for days, running down place. Lots of staff around but not many speak/understand english, not efficient, not hard worker, no initiative. Massage wasnt satisfying for an Asian like me who gets massages regularly. Specifically asked for a muscle tension release (meaning hard massage) but it was just a rub, even I asked masseuse to massage harder. Daughter had usual hair braids like whenever/wherever we go on beach vacation, staff didnt seem to be an expert, took 2 hours, slower than our experience. Went to what they claimed to be their private island getaway, with their shuttle boat, turned out to be not so private Anantara own beach house which anybody can come to eat at their restaurant and use their rest rooms. The island itself was visited by everybody else in Thailand.

Good Hotel but too commercial

Loved the hotel, location, staff but everything is way to expensive for the location. I have stayed in several resorts before but no one charged to ride a bicycle. We paid a deposit which was returned after the bike is returned but ONLY in Anantara they charge 100 thb for 1 hr rental and the list goes on. Airport shuttle one way is 1650 which I thought was expensive too for what we are paying for the stay and food. Drinks are 300+ a drink min but the cocktails are not good. Please change your pillows...they are very soft with lumps inside.

We booked a suites with swimming pool. If you want to avoid the crowds then it is suitable for you. The selection of restaurant is limit but ok. You can try Thai boxing or cooking class at extra course.

A lovely resort however...

It is a beautiful resort in a lovely location but be warned that the marine park is closed from May to October. It was a long way to come to not be able to swim in the ocean so I wish the Hotels.com website had notified us of this. We had a good stay despite this disappointment.

Creepy Crawlers

The service is great. The staff goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy and satisfied. Unfourtunately that can not make me look passed the condition of the facilities. The hotel is old and needs some TLC. The rooms are worn and weathered to many critters (flies, frogs, mosquitoes, geckos etc...) are around the entrances of the room and even in the room. Traveled with 2 young kids so the critters were a major concern. Breakfast was good with lots of selections and worth adding to the stay. Dinner was disappointing and not worth the price Hotel is about 45min-hour from the Trang airport. Yao beach is about 20km away and worth the trek.
