Great stay in Kawaguchiko

This is an amazing stay experience, from check in to stay in the room, to the friendly and helpful staff and the services till the check out and the shuttle service. Everything is good and makes a wonderful and comfortable stay. I and my family will definitely come back again. This hotel has the best location to see the Mountain Fuji.

Hiro and his team made sure the entire stay was enjoyable and comfortable - reaching out to me before my arrival and taking note of my queries to address them. I will definitely come back here. ❤️

Fantastic, marvellous and wonderful stay.

The hospitality we received was remarkable. We contacted via WhatsApp and they gave us instructions clearly how to come to the villa. They also provide free shuttle service from Kawaguchiko Station. On the day of arrival, they even whatsapp to ask if everything is alright and coordinated the time to pick us out of the shuttle bus service timings. On the way to the villa, we wanted to drop the grocery shop to buy things. He drove us there and waited for us while we bought the food stuffs for 30min. Upon arrival, we were greeted by 3 of them. They were so friendly and explained all the things for checking in, travelling within Kawaguchio, where to see Mt Fuji and even ask for our plans returning to Tokyo 2 days later. We were also blown away with the view of Mt Fuji from the villa. It was unbelievable. The red line of the tour bus station 16 was just 3-5min walk. The lake where u can see the sun rising to see the reflection of the mt Fuji was just 5 mins walk. There is also common Onsen in the villa. It was awesome. The villa had all the facilities you can ask for. We prepared our breakfast and dinner during our stay in the villa. They even came to our villa to explain all the amenities and how to use clearly. The villa we stayed had spring water mini osen too. Most importantly the view of mt Fuji was beyond words and we were mesmerised the 2 days we were there. We love the place so much and we will defiantly go back because we love the hospitality and the location.

Simply the BEST!!!!!!!!! Before we arrived, the host/owner of the villa, Hiro-San gave us plenty of tips, ideas, advice and recommendations regarding Mount Fuji. Hiro-San’s brother picked us up from Kawaguchiko station which helped us a lot especially when we had heavy luggages. When we arrived at the Villa, they hosted us at their warm and cozy reception and went the extra mile to help us book our tickets for our bus ride to Mishima station the next day and even helped us with directions to Kyoto. Hiro-San then brought us to our cottage which was simply amazing! It was cozy, clean, had really almost everything you can think of, even the carpet flooring had heating. He orientated us on the apartment and we were pleasantly surprised that he upgraded our cottage to one which had a private Onsen. The private Onsen experience with a cold beer in freezing temperatures is really an experience not to be missed. I would also recommend you trying the takeout food they offer. The rice dish and sushi is the best takeout food I have eaten. Hiro-San also played an extremely pivotal role in helping me with my proposal at 7 in the morning in a freezing cold weather and even managed to get a rose. He even brought us to Asama shrine despite a busy schedule. After we checked out, he even took time out of his busy schedule to bring us to hike up Chureito Pagoda for picturesque photos. Thank you Hiro-San and team for your warm hospitality. This experience will be forever be etched in my memory.

Lake Villa Kawaguchiko stay

A beautiful and quiet place where you can see the full size of Mt Fuji unblocked just few minutes walk to the lake Kawaguchiko. If I have a chance to go back to Japan, I will not give it a miss. Thanks to Mr. Hiro.

Amazing villa at Mt. Fuji

I've been travelling to quite some places around the world, especially in Euro-Asia. Lake Villa Kawaguchiko is so far the best place I've stayed at. The host, and all the crew members, were all very warm-hearted and always ready to offer you a helping hand. The villa is so well priced, so well located, so spacious, so clean, so tidy, so stylish yet also traditional, so warm even in the coldest winter days that I travelled. I will come back to Mt. Fuji area, and I will definitely stay at this villa again! You won't waste a single penny you spend on this lovely villa!

A Gem in Mt Fuji

Top notch in every department! Thank you to the wonderful hosts who never say no to anything. Their hospitality together with the beautiful cottages and the majestic Mt Fuji fronting the villa made our stay truly memorable. Clearly the hosts took pride in their property as the cottage was impeccable! It was spotless and the bedsheets for the futons were crisp and smelled fresh. Even their pet cats seemed well adjusted there as they were a delight with the guests! Will definitely return and stay longer next time.

Wish we stayed longer!

Amazing experience! Loved everything... Charming villa, warm hosts and a gorgeous view of Mt Fuji. Be sure to book your free shuttle bus service! It is a distance from the main station but not to worry, there is a restaurant just 3 min walk away. They can even drop you off at a supermarket or convenience store to get some takeaway food before sending you from the station to the hotel. Food order delivery service from a few eateries is available through the hotel until 7.30pm. Enjoyed the public onsen too (there is an indoor one as well as an outdoor one). Cannot recommend it enough!

Felt like home in a foreign land

Hiro San epitomized the highest peak on Mount Fuji when it came to hosting our family at his cottage. From the pre arrival help via email to the meticulous attention paid to our well being during our stay from 31 May till 2 June, to the after check out follow up. You can feel his passionate wish to ensure your stay was impeccable and beyond excellence. We were very pleased with the entire property in terms of the location, cleanliness, spaciousness, comfort, amenities and warm feeling. We were at a loss for words with the hosts' friendliness and helpfulness. The entire ambience of the stay was very warm. We will definitely stay at Lake Villa Kawaguchiko again if we should holiday in Fujikawaguchiko again. Top notch, excellent, ichiban are the three words to describe our stay with Lake Villa Kawaguchiko!.

Very nice stay at Lake Villa Kawaguchi

A fantastic and amazingly beautiful family hotel. Even have you own hot spring in your unit. The hotel owner Hiro is very friendly. He will recommend you where to visit and which restaurant is good. They have a lovely cat and you can play with it. It's just 3 minutes away from the lake and Mt Fuji view. Highly recommended if you want to have a super relax holiday. We just wished we could stay few more nights. Definitely will come back during autumn time..

A hidden gem to view Mt. Fuji

I had a truly fantastic experience staying at the cottage. An absolute value for money piece of a gem, the cottage offers a serene surrounding as well as a great location to view mount fuji right in front of Lake Kawaguchiko. Our host, hiro-san and his team of well mannered service personnel were enthusiastic in promoting the area and were warm and friendly towards the guests. Not to mention that the property also has an onsen which provides a pleasurable experience in the countryside. We will definitely come back again.
