Perfect spot in Venezia

Fantastic property close to absolutely everything, yet quiet neighborhood to escape the crowds when you want a break. Great host and process - would highly recommend. We loved our time - thank you!

Great place and location

Property was exactly as described - great location and had everything needed. Only think I would add was that there are three flights of stairs so if you are physically challenged at all, it may not be the apartment for you, BUT we will definitely stay there again.

Great location.

It was not in the description that gondoliers pass just under the living space windows, it was a nice surprise to hear the guitars and singers a few times a day! Looking out the window and down, the beautiful gondolas passing was a treat. Grocery is a 3 min walk, cafes and coffee super close!

Great location large apartment

4 flights of stairs a bit of challenge with heavy luggage Location 5 minutes walk from San Narc square 7 min from Rialto bridge leading g to San Polo area which very worth going to.

Quiet location in the heart of Venice!

Clean and comfortable apartment on a quiet street. Close to St. Marco, La Fenice, and Rialto. Property Manager is great; punctual, friendly, helpful, and responds to text message questions very fast. Overall GREAT stay.

Great apartment

We enjoyed our stay at the Phoenix. The location was great! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed plus more. Simone's partners for check in were great meeting us on the Theater Piazza at the well. Note: There are many stairs up to this apartment. I suggest to only take what you need up. Luggage storage is offered a few blocks away and at the train station.

Spacious Apartment In the Center of it All

This is a wonderfully spacious, nice apartment. Comfy bed and couch. The company that manages the property was very helpful and available for help. I suggest letting them arrange the boat transfer (we came from the train but they organize from the airport too). It is on the 4th floor with no lift but not bad really.

Great location, awful bed!

We loved our stay here. Very clean apartment, perfect location, looks just like the pictures! The only complaint I have is that the bed is the worst bed I’ve ever slept on! It is like sleeping on a box spring. Also note that the apartment is located on the 4th floor so you will have to carry your suitcase up the stairs.

Quick Trip to Venice

We had a wonderful stay. The location could not be better, the check in process was wonderful (they pick you up in a water taxi, bring you to the closest dock and walk you to the VRBO). The bathroom, bedroom & kitchen were all very well kept and clean. You have to take your trash out which occurs very early. We slept in most days and this was an ordeal w an early departure. Also wish they had at least one extra mirror in the unit for getting ready.

Short Carnival stay

Great location! The property manager explained everything very clear and gave instructions about the best way to arŕive. Restaurants and cafes right around the corner, La Fenice Theater one minute away and we got to visit! The apartment is roomy, beds are comfortable. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the tv but did not need it anyway, there was too much going on around in reality.

Good place to stay

I stayed for one week during the Biennale - a great place in the more touristy part of the City, but still quiet enough for a very good night's sleep. Central and walkable to all destinations within the city (5' to Piazza San Marco; 25' to the train station, 25' to the Biennale etc..) Be aware of mosquitos in Venice due to the canals, so if you don't like them, bring some spray. Also, the Internet in the apartment was slow, so if you also need to work, bring some patience (and maybe one shouldn't work in Venice anyway). All in all very recommendable!

Venice apartment near everything

Spacious two bedroom apartment in the heart of Venice. Close to just about everything you want to see. It is on the third floor with no elevator, so 60 steps every time you come in and out. Listing indicates there’s a clothes dryer, but there is not, only a close drying rack. It was quiet and comfortable with AC. Great place for a short visit to Venice.

A hidden gem

Fantastic property, great location. My only complaint is that the unit is on the 4th floor with lots of steps to carry your luggage up and down. The air conditioner is undersized for the unit. It took one full day to cool the unit down.

Solid choice

This home is in a central area and within walking distance of everything! It was a 2 bedroom with a table in the living room, which is where you want to hang out! Washer/dryer combo was a nightmare and there were no directions. The A/C did not work well and the bedrooms were hot. All in all—it was okay.

Unhappy stay

No communication from host prior to arriving in Venice, and I’m the one who reached out from a restaurant where there was wifi. No idea address. No one to meet us, top floor, 59 steps with 4 heavy suitcases. Apt was cold, no paper towel, no mirror cept in bathroom only chest up. Not recommend

Beautiful apartment near gondola stop and St Marks

Loved your place, but better instructions for early May when temps can really vacillate would have been great. Amazing videos of gondoliers going through the canals right under the apartment are a unique souvenir. Ok, now for suggestions just because of the weather that we experienced: any alta acua map instructions would have been great, plus a shoe drier. Took a a bit to get back to the apartment some of those rainy nights. Please note, you are in the middle of everything!!! Just remember, the vaporetto stop at St Mark’s square close and is your friend :)

Venice In April 2024

The place was nice, clean, comfortable and we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. We had problems with our phones when we arrived. One problem was miscommunication regarding location. We were given an address and people could not help us. We were later told we missed our meeting time in front of the theatre. It was not clear to us we were to meet in front of a theatre.

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und genau oberhalb eines Kanals, wo die Gondeln durchfahren. Sehr schön anzusehen. Es war alles sehr sauber und die Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet. Die Heizung hat top funktioniert, was in alten Gemäuern ja oft ein Problem ist, aber hier muss man nicht frieren. Die Lage ist einmalig, man ist von hier aus überall in ein paar Minuten. Direkt am Eingang über die Brücke ist eine sehr gut geführte Bar mit Tramezzini und tollen Drinks. Hat von 7-22 Uhr geöffnet. Die Wohnung ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Auch die Kommunikation und der Check in waren top.

Très agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans l’appartement de Simona. L’emplacement est idéal, proche de la place Saint Marc et du Rialto. L’appartement est très lumineux et dispose de beaux volumes. Il est également très calme, ce qui est agréable dans une zone touristique. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Peti bémol : l’accueil et le suivi assuré par la société déléguée par Simona n’est pas à la hauteur.

Geniale Lage

Wir haben das Apartment im Juni 2023 für 10 Tage gemietet. Durch seine Lage, nur ein Steinwurf vom Theatro Fenice entfernt, ist es perfekt für einen individuell gestalteten Venedig Aufenthalt. Sowohl die Piazza San Marco, die Accademia als auch die Rialtobrücke sind in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Das Apartment ist schön groß, die Küche mit dem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Dichte und Qualität der Osterias und Restaurants Venedigs macht das eigene Kochen aber eher überflüssig. Zum Frühstück kann man sich wunderbar im Café al Theatro versorgen. Im Haus selber ist es ruhig, ebenso wie nachts die Umgebung. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war die Qualität der Matratzen. Hier sollte nachgebessert werden. Die Klimaanlage bzw. Heizung machen einen Aufenthalt auch ganzjährig angenehm. Seine Lage im vierten Stock, wie in Venedig üblich ohne Aufzug, sollte beim Kofferpacken mit bedacht werden. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat trotz Flugverspätung reibungslos funktioniert, vielen Dank noch einmal an Alessandra von theveniceneightbours. Wir haben uns in dem Apartment sehr wohl gefühlt und den Vendig Aufenthalt genossen.

A perfect place

This apartment was everything we expected from reading the information. Right in the centre but part of city life everything was easily walkable. We will definitely return. It was a perfect apartment.

The apartment was fantastic great location Simona. Was a terrific hostess.

This was so easy to rent . The hostess colleague arranged water taxi and met us right there . She helped with luggage and with our return sent all kings of places to eat and see . Wonderful
